Anyone who thought this Luai stuff wouldn't impact the season, there's your answer
Rubbish. 3 x regulars down, plus loosing Doueihi early in game, plus a bit of Benji weird choices added to the pot. Weakness with Toa and Tuvana area. On the positive, I reckon our forwards held their own still but badly let down in the backs. I thought Madden and Luai went ok. Anyway, the next 2 x matches will test us.

there can not be any Mr Peter Positives on here after that performance today
wake up to yourselves.
Even without Api AD KPP bula
the effort was terrible
That’s what always shits me. No Api, AD, Bula, KPP. Let’s roll up the sleeves and grind it out set for set. Instead we get error after error. We probably had the ball for around 6 or so minutes all up in the second half and made 6 errors. Tuck it under an arm kick deep. Pin them down.

No depth is the issue once again. The Broncos repeatedly, Canberra yesterday and some other teams also have put in great performances without their main troops. First time we’re under strength this year and this is what we get. It’s pretty disappointing tbh, I thought we were different this season.

Alright let’s breakdown the stats from NRL.

37% possession
62% completion
1166 running metres vs 2063
Time in possession 19 minutes vs 32

Second half only. NRL.com doesn’t do half numbers so according to Fox Sports we had

27% possession
58% completion (7 of 13)
263 running metres vs 1100
229 tackles made vs 86
0 tackles in opposition 20m v 31
Incredible stuff eh.

We were still in it at half time despite everything.

I'd argue Luai let us down too.

When we came out for the second half. He was all smiles. Chatting to Taylan - no smiles. Looked locked in and ready. Evident when he didn't take a back step from Braydon Trindall.

Ain't nothing to smile about here.

Forwards held their own? Our forwards have been brilliant this season but the Sharks were rolling down the field effortlessly in that second half

why does this happen to us every year at this time same thing happened last year we started well and went down to Melbourne by 66 and it had the same feeling today in the second half we completely shut off and add the injuries to that where do we go from here we’ve been so strong this year and then this happens, Its good to be positive but the 50 points conceded hurts exspecially after how well we’ve started the season

Our forwards had the worst game in a while. Played ok first half and were not helped by errors. But even they were flat.
Halfback out, hooker out, fullback out, gun second rower out yet we are supposed to still be beating a regular top four team, wake up people.
Canberra, broncos et all. We are not a top side

We’re gonna be without Samuela Fainu for a lengthy stint also. You don’t get carried off the field unless it’s bad. [This word has been automatically removed] me dead
