LIVE GAME Round 9 versus Sharks

Live Game Discussion
We didn't have the ball.

I'm far more worried in games like the Souths or Brisbane ones where we're on the opponents line the entire game and he does nothing but stifle the attack.

What is he meant to do when we make 200m in the second half and they make over 1000m.
Iam talking more about him getting involved but he just sat out and left it to madden who really had nothing

The error count was horrendous but the worst aspect for me was the lack of aggression in D. We stopped putting them on the ground and started with the running along with them. Immediately puts our retreating D line in back peddle mode.
Complete lack of effort is the disappointing thing.
Unfortunately the high error rate led to the opposition having all the ball, so drains all the energy in defence.

Unlikely any team can hold on with such little possession

We will get flogged in the next two weeks with no , api , AD , bula , and maybe Samuel’s , our depth will be put under great pressure

When your winger drops like 6 out of 8 kicks his way, giving them all the possession. U can’t blame everyone else, it’s on Benji. He should have sacrificed a forward rotation to pull Tavana, instead he ruined his career! Not many players can come back from that. Benji has to live with that, it’s on him. Dumb shit coaching

We knew this was coming ,yes losing AD didn’t help , I was actually thinking this was going to be next weeks wake up call

Well that'll hurt the for & against.

Injuries and Api's suspension took more of a toll than some, Including myself thought it would.

Losing Doueihi & Samuela during the game just capped off a horror game for the boys. I think that there was a bit of panic when Cronulla hit 24 points, they seemed to lack patience & came up with way too many errors, Tino had a shocker but in fairness he didn't get much protection either.

Until this game, their defence, ball handling, metre eating running and effective tactical kicking was top shelf, they'll come back from this but they may really struggle without Api & Doueihi in the next few games. I'd rather lose three now than later in more crucial matches.

Their for & against has held them in good stead though that scoreline has chipped near half of that away. The boys can't afford to lose games by that much, the competition is too tight & they need to put in the killer instinct while they are winning they must pile on some points to make up for today.

Grow up mate..he dropped some really difficult kicks under a lot of pressure ,,, with no help at all but he kept trying,,, game was done , Benji did what he felt best ,,, you can keep beating the issue to death but Toa didn’t even try to tackle players and did his best to avoid responsibility… played like a deadset cat
What ever champ, he let in like 6 try’s his side. Laulil didn’t get one kick down his side. Why, because Tavanas confidence was shot. He hadn’t played for 4 weeks. Yet Benji continued with him. I don’t blame Tavana his confidence was shot. Benji should have hooked him, that’s his bad error. Watch the game, they got all the ball due to tavanas errors. Yes other players dropped the ball, but we’re working it out from trouble due to Tavana.

Just got home saw the score, thought we'd struggle big time playing at that shithole, didn't expect 50 against us, we'll that means we officially can't win the comp

Grow up, please. Wake up, our season is over due to a coach that can’t make a decision on a player who has lost all confidence. Didn’t expect to win the game but gee a little effort. I wonder who bunji blames in the press conference

Well this past week sums up the highs & lows of being a Wests Tigers supporter.

From knowing your Marquis man is leaving after one more season, to the elation at three crucial signings, keeping the bones of the team in good stead, to losing a game BADLY and losing two more of your best, one arguably your best attacking weapon, possibly for weeks if Adam's injury is worse than they already think.

You wouldn't be dead for quids, as much as this club & the "Football Gods" try to kill you! 😆

Tavana is a kid and will bounce back after some time in the lower grades. Starford To'a on the other hand proved today what an absolute liability he is defensively. Bloke doesn't even try
I wouldn't be surprised that if Toa is favouring that troublesome shoulder, he's become a real "grabber" this season. When he's on, he's on & can turn a game but he is nowhere near his best, which simply isn't good enough.

Benji has to sort out the right edge they let in 7 tries. Sharks are a finals side they make prelims consistently but we gifted them the game and a flogging to boot.
