Well he certainly adds some bite in attack and that will be sorely missed.
Yea I am agreeing with you Mate.Mate, TOA was a gotdamn turnstile, tavana made errors but he was trying his heart out, Toa just left him alone and isolated and platted the game of a deadset bludger… it was pathetic
No team in over 100 years of rugby league has ever won a comp after conceding 50 points in a game. Yes, u can say, there’s always a first, but history doesn’t back that.Season over? This seems a bit dramatic
I would Add Laui alsoWe need to show some effort.
This didn't happen tonight.
Sione, Starford & Tavana all let us down.
Tavana has looked good in his first few games though and he was a weapon under the high ball
he didnt get to show it today though
skelton is bad as well we have 2 good wingers those should of been never changed
Unfortunately clontarf we are stuck with a showpony taking up 1.2m for another 18 months today showed we are still carrying nsw cup standard players in 1st grade injuries are now hammering us and we simply don't have quality depth, plus some of Marshall's selections don't helpIts clear that some players just arent nrl stamdard
Throw in a few injuries to key players, and were a bottom 4 team
So thats where were heading
Need to clean out the mediocrity, and having already consolidated the core of the top 13 lets not overpa just because we cam
Need more quality to win anything in September
Think it was Kyle Lovett under Jason Taylor against the Panthers one year, was a secondrower and Taylor had him in the centres covering for an injury i think, Panthers put the poor guy to the sword, he tried his best but wasnt a centre. Was obvious to everyone he was struggling except Taylor. Meanwhile we had Chris Lawrance in the second row who could have slotted in instead. Taylor got absolutly panned for it after the game. This is the truth mate . Toa is used to KPP and AD making all his tackles , a making all his decisions and telling him where to be . When he needs to lead the edge . Look what happens . That’s th worst centre game I’ve ever seen defensively . The same level as when Feledy played there a couple of years ago . And toa has played 100 games of nrl . Disgusting .
Flippedy, not that we dont have the depth to cover, we do. Problem we have atm is with Douhi and Fainu out our 5 top performers week in and week out are on the sideline. We can cover 2 maybe 3 if the stars align during the game. But im not too sure many teams wouldnt really struggle with their top 5 performers on the side line. Granted though Fainu had a shocker tonight. No depth is the issue once again. The Broncos repeatedly, Canberra yesterday and some other teams also have put in great performances without their main troops. First time we’re under strength this year and this is what we get. It’s pretty disappointing tbh, I thought we were different this season.
I'm with youUnfortunately clontarf we are stuck with a showpony taking up 1.2m for another 18 months today showed we are still carrying nsw cup standard players in 1st grade injuries are now hammering us and we simply don't have quality depth, plus some of Marshall's selections don't help
agree tavana stuffed up just about every opportunity he had.Why are people pilling on Luai, he was involved in our only two tries.
Our forwards weren’t going forward in the second half and Tavana was dropping the ball in every aerial contest
even twal hardly misses a tackle and he missed 3The stats dont paint a pretty picture.
Missed tackles
Luai - 4
Hunt - 4
Toa -3
Hope - 3
Twal - 3
Madden - 3
Pole - 2
Fainu - 2
Tavana -2
All run metres
Taylan May - 150
Laulili- 141
Terrell May - 115
Turuva - 103
I still cant get my head around how our forwards were dominated so badly.
Too much tackling we were pinned the whole halfThe stats dont paint a pretty picture.
