Watched the game on sat night & most people near me said they thought Lawrence looked big, but it was his first run & i am sure he will be better for it.

He's certainly not fat. I was sitting next to a Roosters supporter and he commented on how solid Lawrence looked up top. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a touch heavier than his listed weight of 96kg. He just needs match time now and I'm sure the speed is still there.

Spot on Willow. The minister of war and finance picked that up very quickly from the sidelines on the weekend.

It wouldn't surprise me if he's concentrated more on upper body strength, conciously or not, than leg work considering the hip injury.

I think it is a contradictory nickname - in other words, rowdy he ain't.

I haven't seen him live yet this year but I've thought that he looked huge at the same time last season. Obviously being the pro he is, he does lots of work in the off-season.

he hasn't really been given any oppurtunites to show off his speed in the games leading up to round one.

The roosters game showed off the fact his defense is still top shelf, but wasn't really given half a chance to open up his afterburners, and tended to get crunched by three guys in tackles. His one drop ball came from a tackle he was SMASHED in.
