Rowe and Anasta.

when half your spine is providing more for the opposition than for their own team, something is going very, very wrong.

Surely Anasta is on the verge of being dropped, if potter had the balls to bench Benji when he deserved it then Anasta has got to be on thin ice.

I was gong to start a thread titled the exact same thing. Neither of these 2 can be persisted with.

Rowe is gutless and has zero talent
Anasta is simply uncoordinated

Put Fulton in today but he couldn't ground it..
Almost put himself in but didn't get a good bounce…
Almost put Taupau in my Myles made a foul play and went to the bin, should have been a penalty try IMO

Rowe is **gutless** and has zero talent
Anasta is simply uncoordinated

gutless? are you kidding me? he was running front on and tackling front on to people who are double his size. he showed more balls than moltzen ever did at fullback. he lacked skill, positioning, size and defense but you couldn't be more wrong by calling him gutless.

that being said, if simona, nofo and austin escape injuries/suspensions- then he shouldnt be in the 17.

moltzen is a far better fullback than rowe

Back to Reggies Rowe …I have been very disappointed with his performances he is totally out of his depth and to be honest I don"t now how he got a long team contract. He makes Moltzen look like GI ..the Coach will have to rectify this quickly as Teddy is still many weeks away , way to small and timid and has absolutely no idea how to position himself defensively.

Not at that moment he isn't ,Moltzen's how many weeks away

He is the best option until Tedesco returns especially with all the injuries and suspensions that we could be facing

Today was a very ordinary performance by the team as a whole. Missing two key players in Teddy and Farah is really showing up our lack of creativity.

Last week we had a lucky win against Parra, today the gold coast gave us nothing and we produced little. From what I saw of brooks and austin today…....I really think these two were our only spark today and should be in the side fulltime ( yes brooks is austin isn't ATM ) Brooks also needs to get the ball more and needs to involve himself more....anasta is producing very little at 5/8 ATM.

Although Luani and Rowe are trying hard, they just don't have the spark the tigers need. I thought after the Parra game we were in trouble....most sides won't throw you 2 intercepts in a game and allow another soft try from dummy half....I really though we should have had austin starting at hooker and maybe nofo at fullback with either Koro or the Tank on the wing.

Also Big Keith , for a big bloke he is just so slow and looked like he would have trouble breaking the skin off a custard let alone the line of defense today. Then you look at Kapow and Akoula and think wow thats what hard running is about.

I know a side can have an off day but today our senior players were not our best. Wake up time people.

Anyway just my two cents worth.

We lost it through the middle today, not because of numbers six and one. Bodene put us on the back foot with that stupid shoulder on the kicker in the first set. We were under the pump immediately and they had us from then on, and would have been absolutely flogged had Kelly not gone off early.

Whilst losing Ava did not help,I don't think we will see Potter select such a lightweight pack for a while, nor use Fulton off the bench. We really missed Gavet coming on for Sauce early in the match and zero impact from a toiler in Liam as well.

Wasnt a shoulder charge. It was a shirt front. The refs got it wrong if you ask me.

He gave up chasing Don.

That is the end of him as far as I am concerned.

At least have a go

ANASTA is not and hasn't been a five eighth for years. We had no structure today and no clue in attack. Anasta was again invisible except for his errors. There may be a role for him in forwards but please don't persevere with this dud at five eighth.

Yeh I picked up on that too….he initially dogged it then remembered where he was, too late

Anasta's defence was sound, but his general play was less than average. I didn't think Rowe was too bad today in a pretty badly beaten outfit. We lost the ruck and therefore the field position. It's difficult for any back to 'shine' under those circumstances. Anyway, what alternative do we have? Simona will be out for several weeks I would think, and Nofa's knee didn't look good. So I reckon Rowe will be there for the Roosters game. Braith should be shaking hands with the reggies.

You aren't going to get a cohesive performance when you have so many injuries every week

We got lucky last week and at times Brooks overplayed his hand

We lost the forward battle

Our completion rate would of been disgusting

Rowe and Anasta weren't great , but who does Potter pick instead ??

If you change half the backline around to replace Rowe we will have bigger issues with a lack of cohesion

Many of us said we would be happy if we could of been 2-3 with the injuries we have and we are 1-1 and people are complaining

With a salary cap ,when you have multiple injuries you are going to struggle week to week

We've had a bad week , lets get on to next game and try and rectify it
