Ruck area still a concern for Sheens

Wests Tigers Head Coach Tim Sheens is hoping the clean up in the ruck area by referees last weekend will continue at Parramatta Stadium on Friday night for the vital round 18 clash against the Eels.

Sheens expressed his concern over the ruck area in a letter to referees boss Bill Harrigan following losses to the Melbourne Storm and the Bulldogs at home.

“There is no doubt we were Jiu Jitsued out of the last couple of games,’’ Sheens said.

Jiu Jitsued out of the game??? Love it! After watching this game for 30-odd years, I've finally heard something new

harrigans gotta clean the ruck up like he did in that eels v knights game in 2002 when he sin binned 3 eels players including michael buettnor twice haha

The main concern sheens should have with the ruck area is that our ruck defence has been consistently weak for a long long time.

how bout this timmy, create a game plane that suits todays rules instead of B!tching about them!!!

Excellant post. But i doubt Sheens has even considered it. Instead of spending more time adapting, he's just spending more time on the phone to the refs boss

When the refs make bad calls against us everyone gets on here and says pay the 10k and blast them, yet when our coach critises poor referees in an appropriate manner, thus avoiding a 10k fine, you guts get on here and sook.
..
The guy can't win can he. I understand some ppl don't like him, but geez talk about having a go at him at any opportunity that you can get..
..
Sick of all the whinging on here…I'm sure if we were in the top 4 ppl wouldn't be carrying on like this. Bunch of sooks
