Mixed emotions about this. Yes i want him gone, but preferably overseas. Criticize him all you like, but he isn't playing the way he is cos he's lazy or cos he is a hack, he's still suffering from a debilitating injury. I just wouldn't wanna see him in another jumper week in week out, put it down to sentimentality. I do wish he'd overseas though.

This one may have legs, Ricky said he had some major signings that should come through in the next week or so.
I with others on Chris, he always puts in and is a terrific club man, but reportedly on a massive backloaded contract for another two years, he just is not worth his contract value at present. Although if we do not have a player who can fill his role, than what is the point.
On the negative side, Iam sure we would have to carry some of the contract value for the next two years.

Also dont be surprised if Moltzen ends up their too, Ricky is desperate for a no6 and no1 and Moltzen can play those roles and if any player deserves a break its Moltzen
It would be a shame to see him leave given his potential and been named in the 15 year team, however hasn't been the same player since his hip injury and unfortunately sentimentality isn't a part of the game and through no lack of trying or heart has underperformed the last 2 seasons so if we were to save money by releasing him and either buy or promote a better centre then I wouldn't have too many problems with him going to the Raiders

Look he's a terrific club-man , but i think he knows he's best is way past him , i do wish him well but we can't keep carrying him .

I wish Chris all the best if this is true. A good move for everyone involved. Would like to see our club invest in a good centre. Chris in this position has been a liability since he got injured and lost his speed and lateral movement. Sad to see his career go down this path as i would've liked him to remain a Tiger for life. Hope the rumours true.

Good luck to him, he's being expensive deadwood for too long. IMHO, even better if we can add Moltzen, Anasta and Leilua to the package :slight_smile:.
