Apparently it was deal done today but he won't be playing until a little later. I think it was round 14 or something like that.

Read it on another forum. A non-NRL forum and this bloke says he is in the know. I read it early this morning before the radio reports came out.
He also said the earlier rumour a few weeks ago.

Well this guy is a Dogs fan and knows someone in the club.
He says Barba will be spending sometime in Mackay with family before joining with the Broncos around round 12 sorry, not 14.
There are rumours that involve a former Panthers forward partner also but I'm not sure about that one.

Doesnt make any sense… Josh Hoffman is a brilliant Fullback and will wear the 1 jumper once Norman is finished and he is confident again in his knee. There is a big chance he will start at Fullback on Friday night for the Kiwi's.

Bulldogs just signed Cory Thompson from the Queensland Cup as a Fullback though???

Seems all a little strange to me, Hoffman is playing a lot better than Barba and also what Lat mentioned about the salary cap.

Bulldogs signing the fullback from Q Cup says to me that Barba may be in talks with other clubs or in the notion of leaving the club but unsure of where yet. Bulldogs are just thinking ahead.

IMO Josh Hoffman is an ordinary fullback….he is always worth one or two mistakes a game. He will be lucky not to get found out by the Kangaroo's accurate bombs tonight.
He seems to have found a home on the wing, seems to be playing a lot more consistent there without the mandatory errors.
