Havent u heard the news? Brian Smith is going to the Roosters.

And if we ever decide to get rid of Sheens, we better not replace him with Royce, that would just about do it for me.

Well looks like we wont get Seymour, He says he wants to resurrect his career with the Warriors

Adam Woolnough, then Penrith (yes, I know lol) front rower we've been linked to, actually played okay last night. To be honest, he was very good at the Knights a couple of years ago and if we could get him for cheap and get him in form he might not be too bad. Looked overweight and a bit unfit last night but a good off season could fix that.

6 tackles, 4 offloads, 2 tackle breaks, 12 hit-ups for 100 metres. Solid from the bench. Eh, on a minimum wage contract, he could be alright. I mean, even though I've been spruiking Matt Scott all season, I know we're not gonna sign him. I'm being realistic here lol.

Woolnough isn't a bad player. He's kind of like Luke Stuart, will do the job but never be outstanding.

I wouldn't whinge if we signed him, but we could do better.

Apparently the Knights players are pissed that Smith is leaving, lets gun for Cross, Tuafa or Houston. :bulb:

I don't mind the signing of Mitch Brown from the sharks.

He has impressed me in a couple of games for them this year. With a full off season of first grade he should go well next year.

Sheens might be looking to use him in the halves

Amn article i had yet to read about Burgees…

Is Burgess off to Australia?

Bulls ace Sam Burgess could be about to follow the path of England team-mate Adrian Morley and join Sydney Roosters.
>
Reports have surfaced that NRL champions Manly Sea Eagles and Wests Tigers are both keen on enticing the young Bradford superstar Down Under.
>
However, the T&A understands the Roosters – where fellow prop and big pal Morley became such a hero over five glorious seasons – are also in the hunt for one of Super League’s hottest properties, along with Cronulla Sharks.
>
Burgess, 20, only signed a new three-year-deal with the Bulls last summer but has always expressed his desire to one day test his skills against the best Australia has to offer.
>
NRL clubs are circling now and the Roosters are in the market for a dynamic forward as early as next season.
>
They and Manly are believed to be heading the queue of suitors and are willing to offer Burgess more than £1million for a three-year deal.
>
However, the player is under contract at Odsal until the end of 2011, so any potential buyers would need to bid a major sum for Bradford’s star attraction.
>
Aussie clubs are loathe to fork out transfer fees so a player-exchange is the most likely way forward if any deal is eventually done.
>
But that could only happen if Bradford are interested in what’s on offer – and they also have their own quota limit to consider.
>
Ironically, Burgess, whose manager is former Bulls chairman Chris Caisley, is currently suffering from some indifferent form but Manly recruitment boss Noel Cleal confirmed their interest.
>
“We have spoken to Sam and he has made no secret of the fact that he wants to come and play down here,” said Cleal.
>
“He is a talented young player and probably the pick of the next generation of stars over there.”
>
Tigers are also keen, having seen the success of Burgess’ England team-mate Gareth Ellis with them them following his switch there from Leeds Rhinos this season.

Freaking manly and the roosters!!!! We should offer to buy out the contract and send them Halatau and Payne! Win win for everyone involved

Channel 10 sport just showed the Tigers training in the lead up to the Raiders match this weekend. They mentioned that Brett Seymour's future will be sorted in the next week or so, with the NZ Warriors leading the chase for his signature, however the Tigers were mentioned as showing some interest. I hope this dies off with the signing of Taumata as we are now well and truly covered with options for the halves.

Last night on 2UE sports Brandy was going through our signings and said at the end that we were still chasing more
So come on tigers sign that PROP that everyone is screaming for
