Rumour - Mahe to Debut

Can we please have a side of Masters and Mahe

Looked the most threatening in attack, deserves to be back next week

Realistically…

Mahe > Nofo.

Easy changes for future rounds rly..
Mahe & MWZ on each side. Nofo sooking in ISC.

Congrats on a great debut, I look forward to seeing how his game improves.
Sure he had a brain snap towards the end with the strip incident but overall he looked every bit a first grader.
I have to agree with Demps, I think Mahe has proved he deserves the shot at first grade.
Sorry to say but I think Nofo needs to play ISC for a while.

He has played 50+ for Melb Storm & 50+ for Hull FC

Boggles my mind the amount of people who are so unfamiliar with him. Scored 25 tries in 50 games for the Storm.

For now we should play Mahe on Nofa's wing and keep MWZ on the left and if we can find a good winger he should be moved into the centres.

I think he cemented his spot today. My only complaint would be he needs to be more selective of when to offload. He looked to offload whenever he could today, even when it wasn’t on. Has the potential to backfire. Apart from that, we haven’t had an outside back like him since Tuiaki.

I thought he played really well but did look a bit gassed and his hit ups got less effective as the game went on.

In saying that after a couple of hit outs in first grade I’m sure he will come up to speed and really prove his worth, I hope we preserve with him as he will be a great addition to our side.

Indifferent is how I feel about his overall game today. Would probably lean towards MWZ returning on the basis of him being a great team man and his one percent work.

Just to clear it up, yes I am aware that he isnt a totally new to first grade rugby league and that he played for both Storm and Hull. I was referring to his debut for Wests Tigers first grade. I apologise for not being clearer for you.

I was a little disappointed in one play yesterday with Fonua, not that he did the wrong thing, but he was given the ball early down a corridor and he decided to put it on the toe.

For a second I was hoping for some TNT-style barnstorming, I was hoping he'd take the defence on and leave a few Eels in his wake. Sure there were 3 or 4 of them hovering, but that's the stuff legendary touch runs are made of.
