He commands respect among his team mates, is good for team morale...never have I seen a new player walk into a club like he did at newcastle and have every team mate surround him on the field hanging off his every word...hes a leader

Agreed - Having young Sims grab him on the todger and not even bat an eyelid shows you where he's at with his teammates (And ex team mates)
We've got nothing but young props - Like him or Loathe him… Willie Mason has been there and done it all, And guess what - He's still here!!
He is EXACTLY what our young side (Woods included) needs. Plenty of heart and pot loads of experience.
**I'd have had him over Galloway the last 3 years....**
@rex2ce said:If the rumours about Tim Grant signing with us are true, how's this for a pack
Woods
Farah
Sue
Griffen
Lawrence
Edwards

Ava
Grant
Sironen
Cherrington
No place for Halatau at this stage, I think Chee Kam will be in the centres

Some players will be disappointed, that's what happens when you have depth, Parahi needs a couple of games in NSW Cup to re adapt to 13 man game, McConnahie lagging in fitness at this stage apparently, seriously importantly to win a couple of games early

Proof enough for me.
Phil Gould isn't known to troll on Twitter, so my guess is he'd already have signed off on this, and doesn't particularly care if it's been announced.
Welcome aboard Tim. :sign:

If WT boycott Honest Sam and no other team does then we are only shooting ourselves in the foot. Can't see how a short term contract will Willie could do much harm. Tinkler gave him a leg up and he seemed to appreciate it.
Willie is a good guy at heart, he bought his mum and siblings homes - good on the guy. His silly stuff doesn't count much with me.

So we should ditch Tedesco and Farah based on this statement?
I'm sure there's others on the books at the Tigers managed by Ayoub.
@ricksen said:Gould also mentioned that Penrith would be paying a bit of Grant's salary in 2016.

WT tried to get rid of Farah, but unfortunately nobody really wanted him/he wouldn't go.
Hopefully Tedesco has better luck in his effort to get rid of Ayoub, **and of course it would be nice if his teammate left him alone and kept his big nose out of the issue**.

Sorry @king sirro - I was referring to this - The fact that Penriff are paying some of the salary of Grant.
