Rumour: West Tigers big signing to be announced soon.

so….are we signing anyone?

Who cares, at least for just a wee short while, you can have a laugh reading some of this thread's lighthearted stuff, instead of your blood pressure going through the roof with exasperation reading some of the threads of late! Nice change! Should be more of it!

Moley says..

Souths are busy trying to offload players for next season to fit in James Roberts — and Tim Grant could be the next to go.

Grant has been linked to several clubs, with the Tigers closest to gaining his signature.

Talks with the Tigers have been ongoing and it’s just a question of the two parties agreeing to a dollar amount. An an announcement could even be made before Christmas.

Does he have our good mate Sam as his manager?

I don't know what gives with Grant. Played two Origin games a few years ago and fell off the radar after that. I suppose signing with Souths and being bumped from the first grade side by Cleary probably didn't so him any favours. He would be a walk up start at Wests given our stocks so I hope he doesn't see it as an opportunity to come here to under perform on a good wicket.

If Souths are topping up a decent portion of his salary then it could work in our favor. I would prefer Brenton Lawrence, but beggars can't be choosers.

That is unnecessarily harsh but I suppose Mods feel like they can abuse people without sanction

Because your comment makes me think you are about 7 or just an old prick

and willow posting her usual something of substance….the irony

post of the off season, well said boon, Willow is the first one to send a PM when she doesnt like something posted and then turns around with this garbage, give yourself an upper cut willow, you muppet

The hipocrisy of your post is unbelievable, whilst you are "defending" another person did you realise you are having a dig at girls? Refering to willow as a girl, why are you using "she" with the intentions of offending someone?

never thought of Willow as a man, thought the user was female. Nice misdirection of the point though, well done mate,

nothing to say about the ''hipocrisy'' of a mods actions. nothing? well, move along then.

Yes i'm sure you thought of him as a lady…sarcasm

Tim Grant would be my least favourite of the conceivable options. Dopey, thuggish and penalty-prone. That said, we need another prop, preferably cheap.

A/ Willow's a bloke (Captain Dan to some )

B/ Willow's doing his job , which goes pretty unnoticed

C/Why don't you put the time on here that he and others do to keep this Forum running for the likes of close to 5000 people

D/ Yes things happen and get heated but just remember it's just a Forum , far worse things can go down in life )

Good post Happy. Thumbs Up.

I'd agree with that.

Have to agree

Well he is probably cheap and he is probably all the club can afford these days.

It's generally a thankless task as it sometimes involves making unpopular decisions, but I accept that and it's a voluntary job that I will continue to do in my interest in supporting the club.

Willow, there are people on here that absolutely admire the work you do for this forum and the other mods as well..without you guys this place would not have my interest and dare I say many others..continue on with your good work,it is greatly appreciated….

I agree totally with TT

Thanks Willow and all Mods - also appreciated at this end.

Good signing if true. Well done to WT if they pull this off at a low price.
He was good off the bench for Souths made over 100 metres at times and is an experienced Prop with size and aggression.

Im surprised everyone isnt pumped about the possibility of getting Grant.

On the cheap….and his stays dont tell the story of his form.

He averaged about 30 mins a game and still got over 100 metres a game.

And is big body!
