Rumoured Tiger signing news RLW

'Matt Utai to be rewarded with one year extension. Matt Bell to be rewarded with one year extension. Brent Kite to sign with us once Manly's season is over. Junior Moors is being hunted by Manly and the Tigers could let him go to get for some fresh faces. Tim Sheens declines Interview with Warriors to stay loyal to the Tigers.'

Agree with those extensions and the signing of Kite will be good for depth, and size in the pack. Not sure I'd be letting Moors go though, he's shown what he is capable of with decent game time.

So it's basically a swap Moors for Kite. At the respective point in their careers, is it worth it?

If we sign Kite, we are gaurenteed a high quality prop in good form for maybe 2 or 3 seasons, with Moors we take the risk that in the next season or 2 he gets to the standard of Kite and then stays on with us. Id go for Kite tbh and then blood more young players

Agreed we need a solid prop now.

Gibbs would be a great signing but Kite will be good also.

tell sheens to have the freaking interview. he's not loyal to us he's loyal to a life of no consequences.
If we want depth then why would we swap Kite for Moors rather than keep them both?

Manly's hardly going to hand him over on a silver platter are they..

Theres no guarantees in new recruits.
Yeh, he's in **good form** now….he's also looking for a contract.
Funny how those **two** are never mutually exclusive

I just don't understand the economics of the deal.
Surely Moors + 1/2 of Kite's salary must be pretty close to being = to Kite's full salary?

Whats with the I love Moors fan club?

Sure he played three good games at the end of the year (two of which we lost), but he has had three years to stand up and be counted. He has had limited opportunities but he hasn't really stepped up in the games he played.

Kite will be lucky to spend 1/3 of the season on the field. But I admit that we need an experienced prop so I am happy to give him a go.

"Sheens declines interview with warriors" is the worst news ive heard for while

He's been re-assured that his coaching position won't be reviewed :crazy . That's the reason he's not worried about even going across the Tasman for an interview.

Unimpressed by nearly all of that sheens stays. utai the slowest winger in the comp who cant jump and is out of position in defence usually stays and will keep a young player out of first grade.Kite is ok at the price but the average age of the team must be getting close to the oldest in the nrl.happy with bell because he wont be on many dollars and is solid

Indeed there is not, but there is no guarantee Moors will develop into the player Kite is now either.

In all honesty we don't need Kite, we have Woods and Keith to start and then Bell and Pettybourne on the bench. If there injuries we have Moors and Cashmere and the 20's prop Fotuaika, add to that Blair and BMM at a stretch I think we should focus more on finding a right centre because Ayshford is not cutting it atm

Moors played well this season and I'm a Moors critic.

Everyone was complaining about him being dropped in the 2011 season where he only had one good game so I couldn't understand the complaints.

This year Moors put paid to the doubters.

I don't mind Kite, though at times his on-field actions are questionable, but how old is he?
