Russell Packer - OFFICIAL..

Absolutely the best signing so far. Will give our pack a fear factor for the first time ever. For all those doubters due to this guy's background can you just give him a chance. He did something terrible and paid the price he should have paid. But if we don't allow people to redeem themselves that is a little bit sad.
 
Just as well - great signing.

He has turned his life around and I for one am looking forward to him having a real good go for us.

Shaping up quite nicely, would like a replacement prop for Sue as he is too small, and too slow for back row (last couple of games not good enough). Maybe JJ and Aloiai are the two replacement props but I think we still need an old head to come on after twenty.

Certainly a big improvement and I am sure that the situation will only get better with Cleary at the helm.

Should have some more info soon. Tigers waiting to see if warriors will release lolo if not then their offer will be withdrawn and they will set their sights on another FB. So until that is cleared up the FB position will remain on hold for now.
 
Our pack for next year looks good now doesn't it. We need to re-sign McIlwrick but worse case Liddle gets the spot.

I agree with Russell in relation to Sue. He doesn't seem to be fitting in anywhere.

I haven't heard anything in regards to Folau. Though I usually only get info when a letter of offer has been sent. Could easily of had a chat to his manager off the record though. Tigers have the money to sign him.

Probably why it isn't on the Dragons website yet, but they are announcing Vaughan re-signing for the next 4 years instead!
 
Packer + Mautilino for pretty much the same cash as woods + ava. Thats a huge upgrade.

Reynolds for Moses. Another big upgrade.

…...... for Tedesco. Last piece of the puzzle. Id be happy with Lolohea. I see something in him. He has plenty of potential. Unlike our divas he has experienced hardship. He has been dropped, he is unwanted. A new club will do him wonders and especiallly being coached by an ex fullback.

What's it matter if Cleary is an ex fullback. He should be able to coach a fullback regardless.
