Sack Sheens Thread

Shouldn't matter who the coach is. Conceding 5 tries in 13 minutes is an embarrassment to any team in any grade. I doubt we let in such a massive volume of points so quickly even during the Terry Lamb years. Shouldn't need someone to tell Joel Reddy that being 3 players in is okay if you have some defence outside you but not to good when the other mob has 2 players. As I said in another thread, it's these type of situations that led to Braith Anasta getting signed. We've had 2 games this year where teams have scored zero for most of the game and then suddenly look unstoppable and in other games we've seen our lack of ability to stem a rapid scoring of points. Is someone of Sheens fault? Maybe, but he shouldn't be held responsible for Sunday's debacle.

Just because some people disagree with his opinion, how does that make it tripe??? Or is it a case of "if you don't follow The status quo on here then the forum Nazis will sensor you"??? What gives you the right to make veiled threats to posters because they are pi$$ed at our multi million dollar team under performing? Forums are designed to promote discussion, obviously the only discussion allowed on here is the type the moderators agree with. You mean censor? Well given the OP has been up for a day I don't see much sign of censorship. I don't know any of the moderators personally nor have I even met or spoken to any of them but I've yet to see a forum member punted for posting a dissenting view. There are countless pages and threads running at the moment along the theme that people are disappointed at the capitulation on the weekend. If they all get the elbow it's going to be pretty quiet.

It is not that his view was different to the moderators (and mine) there is lots of posts that i disagree with, what makes it tripe is the rubbish about going to lowes and Kiama and all that other stuff that was there.
 
Forget sacking Sheens Sack the fans who don't hang tough with the boys who are battling to try and turn the corner

Ignore the minority (the last 14 minutes ) and take in the first 66 minutes The Tigers where very clinical and even though it was only Parra they looked very good and in total control

Just remember that side is missing Ellis in defence and put Ellis out there and we would of seen a far better result

It is Round 8 of a very long season

These guys deserve far better than some fans give them in the way of support

I wonder how you would feel if you did pretty well at work and someone started abusing you

If they were paying money to watch me work I'd probably be a little more sympathetic to their criticisms. I agree with what you're saying overall but we're not talking a minor nod-off, we're talking about one of the worst meltdowns in NRL history. 5 tries in 13 minutes Happy!!!

If I was in a high profile public persona position and not performing to standard I would expect criticism, as it is I and many of us here are just one of the many thousands that just go and do our jobs, with probably only our bosses taking any interest

Thats all right Ink , you just focus on the bad bits as usual and forget what the Tigers did well

We are talking about team that everyone was bagging the crap out of a month ago and they have won 2 on the road now

If we can beat the Titans this weekend and make it three in a row away from home I will be impressed no matter if it a one point win or a 40 point win

This isn't aimed at you Ink , but some people talk absolute garbage on here

The Tuqiri bagging is the perfect example The eels had a 4-2 overlap with the second try and Lote did what any winger is taught . You move up quickly and try and turn them back inside and then retreat once the ball carrier makes his call Any NRL side when confronted with a 4-2 10 metres from the opposition should score 95% of the time
3rd try again Parra had a 5-4 overlap when they scored

Everyone is bagging Lote defensively , how about the people's who's fault it really was

To the few on here that may have experienced this sport , you are name calling (or number calling )

We didn't number up / man up inside Lote and because they score Lote gets the blame

I'll stick by what I said before sack the twits who have no idea not the coach who does
 
YAWN, at this thread. Sack Sheen's and get Georgallis for the rest of the year. Loved Steve at the Maggies but seriously back up this crap with some "alternate" suggestions.

Same topic raised. Same critics, supporters and divided opinions. If we stick with what we have, do you think things will get better. Like it or hate it for the meantime you live with it. All I know is the era with our current stars will be over soon and it will be disappointing knowing that 2005 is all we had to show for it.

Excepting Georgie since he's on our staff, the only quality there is Elliot and Anderson, the rest I wouldn't feed.

Hows the coaching merry go round going for Parra??

I like Georgalis for the same reasons as you CB, but in all honesty Jury is out on him for mine, I would welcome any of the short list above.

If its not Bellemy or Bennett, I am happy with Tim Sheens.

Brown would be a good fit for us,Potter is alright and Anderson is a proven performer,he got beat in the GF by an illegal team,so his options are not that bad,so I don't see your point,Tim's record is not that flash over his time at this club.
