Sacking Madge Was Pure Sheenius

You shouldn't blame Sheens. He was only meant to be here to help run our pathways teams. Then all of a sudden he was thrusted into one of the top positions in our club. The real blame lies with those who are making these hiring decisions - the board.

Then they took Kimmorley out of our pathways system and put him into the top role. It's madness. You weaken the development of our youth to achieve what? Pascoe and the board talked a big game about working on our pathways, then proceeded to gut them. Braindead, stupid, moronic, idiotic, etc.

Was a fantastic move sacking Madge. No interim coach of any note, no new coached shortlisted and ready to sign after the axe dropped. Total kneejerk reaction based on the Chairman's comments on SEN and the lack of action since Madge's sacking.

Have the Sheens sycophants eaten their own heads yet?
They can’t reach them yet as they are still firmly entrenched in their arses.

No one said it was going to be fixed yesterday.

From outside looking in, it appears to me that there is a plan behind the scenes about where the club aspires to be and that these changes bring short term pain for the greater good.

And that pain is to sponsors, fans/members and everyone involved.

Patience is hard when the scoreboard is horrible but I'm prepared at this stage to run with things, give my team and my club 100%.

That is the only way to come out the other side.
Adversity reveals our deepest strengths.

Kimmorley presser was bad. 'Getting stefano back and Doueihi will help us...better players on the field'. I hate that comment. Everyone has injuries, telling players who played that they're not good is bad. I remember Seibold doing that at the end of his go at the Broncos too.

I'd agree with most of what he said tho.

Identified the issues fixing them tho is a different story.

Weve had over 2 decades of adversity. Older fans have had far more.

I thought his first real presser was ok considering he was thrown into the deep end. Some valid points.
Noddy never made excuses on the footy field so I'm prepared to cut him some slack.

Noddy hasn't got the answers - nor should he be expected to. We have the weakest squad in the NRL not one strike player. Even the Titans as bad as they are going have players that would be first picked in our team. While we were likely to always be in the bottom 4 this year under Maguire, we look a shoe in now for the wooden spoon.

Yep - Noddy definitely does not have any answers. The day the club sacked Madge I wrote that Kimmorley’s NRL coaching career was going to last 12 weeks and that we would almost certainly get the spoon. I wish i was wrong but not seeing anything to make me change my mind.

He managed it against the side who flogged us today, and did so with a worse team.

Short memory, so what happened last round last season where we had a stronger side to their weaker side. Apples an oranges.

Something interesting for you:

18 games in a row we haven’t won a 2nd half

60% (9) of our last 15 games we have scored 2 or less tries

One comment that was interesting - next few rounds will work out who is up to and who isn’t longer term for us. Get the feeling a culling/cleanout will be happening.
