souths dont have the money or the appeal to snare the great chris lawerence, they invested over a million of their cap on props

i know it doesnt mean much these days, but from speaking with chris over the past couple of seasons he seems pretty content on being a tiger for the entirety of his career.
hes got a good head on his shoulders and a bright future outside of league

Why would anyone even bother to take this seriously. Given Sheens view of Lawry I doubt he would sacrifice him for Tuqiri. Regardless, how would Souths fit him under their cap. They would be in a similar position to us capwise the difference being they have paid overs for average players.

really? i didnt know that…..... smh, like i said lote can get paid any third party amount as long as they arent affiliated with the club on another form of sponsorship, so yes x-blades can only pay 100k, but a company like lonsdale can pay him 500k if they want to.
Ok you must know who these sponsors are then. I would love to know how much Lote is getting?

my initial post was saying that 3rd party sponsorship can be whatever it wants be there is no limit unless that 3rd party sponsor also sponsors the club.
i never said losdale were paying lote 500k, all i said was they could if they wanted to…smh dude

The report in the Herald was wrong, Blades didnt delay anything, the NRL delayed it by trying to stop Blades - all went through ok though.

you would have to look at who is coming through the club to see if we resign which if all these players… id imagine in 3 yrs tuqiri will be covered by mullaney, shirnacks/fafita's/woods would be screaming for game time.. causing a tough decision to keep galloway &/or gibbs. there is also lui/dwyer coming through....
