Doesn't seem to be in JT's plan so I have no issue with him looking elsewhere.

I think a lot of Wests Tigers fans would like to know what JT's plans really are. At the moment it looks like it is to get rid of as many promising players as possible while at the same time not buy any new player until at least 2017.

Youre right, the plan is reduce the salary cap spend at all costs.

Its not a renovation, its knock down and rebuild.

Not another rebuilding phase. The club is an expert with no success in this type of phase.

I dont think our natural development or the style of football we could play or building on the changes Potter and a couple of his signing had made even came into.

Just see a coach who wanted to do it his way, come hell or high water.

really starting to hate JT, if this is true , he is by far a better second rower than lamar, yet he gets played in the front row. if anyone needs to leave its JT.

Has he left prior to 30 June?

Under a former high profile coach, we never lost a junior we wanted to keep. Now we are in danger of losing a 2015 selected Junior Kangaroo and a two time Junior Kiwi.

What happened to the much celebrated recruitment and retention committee?

I kind of agree with your comment, I think he is a bit underated at the tigers, I think second rower should be his main position coz hes quite explosive for a big guy, he should've have been put on the edges and let him run, and pound for pound hes quite strong, isn't he in the top 10 or 5 for bench records for the club? maybe you have to be good at sucking up to coaches to get in teams?

JT doesn't like his wife checking him out at traing!

I'm gonna go ahead and play devil's advocate here, but anyone else think JT prefers the Anglo, Aussie sorts of players over some of the Polynesian blokes?
Without knowing the ins and outs of the situation it seems that Funaki and Akauola (who 12 months ago was an NRL player) have been shafted all year positionally, and if what someone else was saying about Fletcher recommending Fine as the best second rower/centre we've got in the lower grades, but he can't get a run.
Not knocking Lovett, Buchanan or Santi, they try which is all you can ask, but when you compare last year's bench of Taupau, Ava, Sue and Gavet to some of this year's offerings there's a distinctly safer feel about them.
I also think Funaki is head and shoulders above Liolevave (who seems to struggle running of someone other than Martin) and should have been retained, though can't begrudge him leaving.

Maybe JT has David Faalogo on his mind!

Yeah I think its David Faalogo on his mind lol.

lol yeah probably.

What's the big deal?
Players like him and even Liolevave are a dime a dozen throughout the lower competitions.
Another one who 'maybe' might make it.
You cannot keep everybody!

Some players you should probably keep are the ones who maybe aren't asking for massive overs like other players, maybe he just wants a opportunity at first grade first while others players already have, the players who are asking for ridiculous amounts of overs should be the ones to let go especially if that position is already getting paid overs to another player who is already in the team.

JT has the job of sweeping up the crap that everyone else before him has left. He stated up front that there would be no new signings. It was only last year that forum members were complaining that everything Tigers ends up in the media and we were a laughing stock.

Well guess what, nothing is in the media now. No rumoured signings, no rumoured unrest. No leaks in our ship. The results aren't coming yet, but the signs are there. We aren't getting belted, although a couple of tries up the guts the last two weeks have had me a little concerned, but this seems to coincide with him opening up our attack a bit more.

There is a plan, he was appointed because he did have a vision for the roster. This will mean some players will not be in his plans, whilst others will. He has a lot of skill in the grades but doesn't really have the time to wait for them to be ready. Hence the issues we have now.

We lost before JT and we are losing now. I just hope there is a reason and that we are going somewhere.

Interesting,,,Broncos release Garbutt to Leeds effective immediately…

Where in the hell do these rumours start?

Nothing from the club? Then it has not happened. Some people just like running off at the mouth.

I think there 'maybe' that means not 100%, be some weight behind these rumours but I'm not saying nothing I'm just a fly on the wall.

I'd love to hear your reasons on this one Milky.

Mate he has been playing in a different position every week, hasn't been given the opporunity to develop, as a youngster you need to stick to one position and excel, he clearly wanted to play in the second row but the club has played him at prop, centre, wing continuously and lately dropped back to holden cup.

Milky, your statement to me is contradictory.By learning & playing different positions to me is development.Unfortunately rugby league is a team sport & sometimes players will be asked to play in positions that is not there preference. If he has actually asked for a release for these reasons then it shows a lack of resilience & not the attitude you want from your youngsters coming through the grades.

I agree with this. I hope we keep the kid but I don't see us doing anything wrong.
