i was at the game today…tomkins looks a real good player. always looked dangerous. he plays a bit like moltzen, however seems to put his body on the line a bit more. i suppose it was an international so maybe timmy would do the same given the chance...

One of England's best last night and hardly went missing in setting up 2 tries. He'd handle NRL as easily as Hodgo did.

Haha that really was a silly comment from OM….

The kid is a freak and would be a sensation over here as would be Ryan Hall. Both caused our defense many headaches. Definite future superstar.

Well if RU in England want to make him the highest paid player in history no team in the NRL are a chance of signing him up Unless he is wanting to challenge himself of course in the best rugby league comp in the world

Hard to argue there Ink, Hodgo was tougher than a coffin nail. I think some need to wait until Tomkins has had the longevity that Hodgo has before comparing them.

Anyone doubting Tomkins ability is kidding themself.

Alot of NRL fans reckon that everyone outside the NRL is no good, pity cause there is a number of excellent players running around in ESL and union.

The Eclipse probably hasn't seen the Hodgson pre knee injury and in his prime Ink

But to give you the drum Eclipse Hodgo played Origin and before the knee injury had electric speed of the mark and played like Gareth Ellis in a 70 odd Kg body One of the gutsier footy players I have seen (And a great bloke to boot)

Most of us on here are very biased towards Hodgo (self included), elipse prob in line with most non WT fans I'd say.
Hodgo forever will be one of my fav's, gees he was good for us.

Hodgo's first Origin series was some of the gutsiest footy I've ever seen. Its just a shame it will be remembered for Tallis' throw over the sideline, because he was by far the best player of the series, although I think Joey got that award.
