Same sex marriage debate...

Still waiting for your evidence. You've been caught out. You're trying to use your childish games to cover it up. Where's your evidence? Pretty simple even for you.

There you go again. Where's your evidence? You make claims and you don't back it up. You've had plenty of chances but keep ducking it.

Its called an OPINION. I know you have no idea what that is as you never have one of your own, however an OPINION is a personal view or appraisal. It is my OPINION, that you just copy what other people have said and release it as your own words without giving any credit.
Which is plagarism, which is theft, which is wrong.

Im done with this thread for now…try to keep your bigottry down to a dull roar please.

No plagiarism is an accusation. You are accusing me of stealing material from others without attribution. You can't have an opinion that someone is doing that.

You've made a big accusation and not provided a single piece of evidence. I've challenged you to back up your big mouth and you've failed to do so. And now you're running off.

Well I hope you're honest for a change and do leave the thread.

So your homo mate bashed him. Yet you then wring your hands about violence towards homo's. That seems homosexual fair.

Well you've well and truly exposed yourself as a homophobic bigot. Probably the most shameful post in this whole thread. You're a disgrace.

Get off our high horse you embarrassing snowflake.

That's rich coming form you. You reckon you don't care but you hang around like a bad smell. You're all venom no brains - everyone know it pal.

I agree. Thst sort of stuff crosses the line, and doesn't do the yes argument any favours.

Anyone else receive an unsolicited same sex marriage text today urging you to vote yes ?

So glad I voted NO … What a bunch of FLOGS !

Yeah I did. Didn't really like it but not going to take it out on other people who had nothing to do with it.

I didn't like it either. It doesn't do the yes side any favours.

Assaulting a former PM is reprehensible and demands a good dose of penal servitude. Assaulting a former PM who is in many ways the face of the No campaign during the survey over the definition of marriage highlights high level of intolerance and intimidation.

No actually it just highlights one idiot being an idiot.

….and theres the tantrum. So predictable.
Only sulking left for you now, although that would not be a massive departure from normal transmission for you...in my OPINION of course.

There are some shocking bigots in this thread…

Look in the mirror you hypocrites.

What's happened to you stryker? You've lost your edge. I remember you used to have some clever stuff to say, amongst generally being an obnoxious twit, one of the reasons I didn't foe you ages ago.

But your contributions to this thread are shockingly uninspired, calling people out and spraying insults around like a dog in a field of tree stumps.

I suppose you felt some need to stir people up, I don't get it, but it must be something you need to do. You must be a real joy at social functions.

You said you were going - as usual you don't back it up…
You ran your big mouth off making accusations and then can't back any of it up. You're a pea-heart. You talk it up but don't back it up.

…and theres the sulking.
My job here is done. You are so conceited that its not even a challenge. I lead you every step of the way. Good dog. Now i suggest you get out of the library, stop stealing other peoples thoughts, leave those books alone for a bit and experience life. You may even like it.

Just calling it as I see it. Ive had to lower myself to certain peoples levels recently. Glad you noticed. Ill be clever again soon.

Alright, last chance for people to discuss this rationally because I've just banned one person indirectly in relation to crap that has transpired on here and I won't hesitate to ban others based on some of the garbage going on here. DISCUSS THE TOPIC RATIONALLY OR NOT AT ALL PLEASE.

Another day another demonstration of respecting the opinion of others. There is nothing wrong with this and could have been done on the street, but I think a lot of people that are not directly impacted are getting tired of having an opinion jammed down their throat.

Same-sex marriage: Women kiss on stage in protest at No event
KIMBERLEY CAINES, The Daily Telegraph
September 23, 2017 9:58pm

TWO female protesters stormed the stage of a Coalition for Marriage “vote no” rally last night, embracing in a kiss before being escorted away.

A video of the stage invasion in Melbourne as posted on Twitter by Australian Christian Lobby managing director Lyle Shelton, who was speaking at the time.

The woman are seen kissing on stage for more than 20 seconds. They are then pulled offstage by a man as they remained kissing before security guards intervened.
The women kissed for more than 20 seconds.
The protesters are escorted from the stage.
Security confront the protesters.

It is alleged the women made several attempts to enter the room and were heard chanting “burn churches not queers” and “crucify Christians”.

The lobby group, which advocates for continuing to define marriage as being between a man and a woman, held the event in an attempt to convince people to vote no to marriage equality.

Mr Shelton posted the video online with this comment: “While Cella was speaking this just happened. The protester shouted ‘fascists’ into the microphone before this.”

Earlier in the evening, he tweeted about a female protester rushing onto the stage while he was speaking.

“She violently resisted security as they escorted her off,” he tweeted.

I thought this plebiscite was going to pass with flying colours a couple of months ago, now I am not so sure. The campaign is up there with John Hewson & the republican movement for how to lose the unlosable election.

Yeah I'm not sure this kind of activism helps. But the other day there was a peaceful rally up my way the other day that barely made the press. And I know a few gay and lesbian people all of whom don't want this public debate and just want to get married without fuss.

The fringe loony left type will always make a meal of this sort of thing. I can appreciate the frustration of gay and lesbian people when they see a rally whose primary message is "your rights aren't the same as ours" but I agree rushing the stage and chanting anti church stuff isn't helpful.

I have had people handing me yes flyers at the station in the morning. I have no issue with that & have not seen anyone disrespect them further than not accepting one.

As I said, a couple of months ago everyone I knew was saying yes was the obvious vote. This is changing, and it is not because of concerns around the school syllabus or other agendas pushed by the no campaigners, it is a backlash against some of the disgusting militant behaviour of some of the fringe yes supporters.

Why do they refer to radicals lesbains, for example, as looney left? It is not a typical left-right issue at all unless the right wing are conceding that left wingers respect individual human rights more.
