No, Sheens doesn't deserve any criticism at all for selecting 2 backs on the bench against 1 of the biggest forward packs in the comp that left our forwards out on their feet 10 mins into the second half. Nah he doesn't deserve any of it, its all on the players. Some people will just defend the man no matter what

some people will stick the boot in no matter what…

do you think sheens doesn't know football a 1000 times more then we do...

Don't jump on the winning wagon later then

Sticking the boot in no matter what is whinging when when we are winning, not criticising when we are losing. If i think we are crap i'll call it like i see it, something you obviously have trouble doing . Praise them when they play well and give it to them when the situation warrents it, and tonight is one of those situations. Its all apart being a passionate supporter. P.S don't be scared to let out a little frustration when the situation calls for it. No one will think any less of you as a supporter, well no one with a brain anyway

If we dnt improve it will b worse next week always remember when the rabbits put 50 on us scary thought but can happen the way we r playing

It doesnt bother me if people think im not a supporter..i know better…im not saying i lovemy team anymore then anyone else either.

Yeah the criticism is one dimensional ...its always sheens around this place....you would love someone like me on your team in a fight i wont go running and leave you for dead when we behind.you on my team i would worry.

I know what you say about 2 backs on the bench...but i refuse to say sheens wouldn't know anything we know and therefore there must of been a reason

oh please youre in denial this is the worst west tigers in living memory a bunch of gutless heartless overpaid prima donnas with no structure in defence and no clue.

Bigdamo you are are pathetic and probably a manly supporter but even you are probably right. Can you piss off pls so we can recover without your crap!

Why are they though Damo? Instead of just name calling why dont you offer some wisdom?

There is every chance you are right with 4 or 5 of them. My team next week wouldnt include Groat, Blair, Ayshford, Lawrence or Moltzen. I have given them all a month now, defending them against most on here and not 1 of them has improved. They are collectively letting this side down. However we can not afford to drop them all.

IMO, Blair must go to the front row and he must pull his finger out. I feel sorry for Groat but he is too green to be starting at NRL level. The kid has talent but he is struggling to keep up at the moment. I think Moltz must go to the bench. He is too good to drop but his performances do not warrant a starting spot. As for the centers, Aysh deserves to be dropped and Chris needs to get his act together. Our halves are cramping them for room but they are both missing some easy tackles out there.

It is unbelievable that after a month of football, our most consistant and best performing player is a winger who isnt big and who isnt fast. Beau is trying his hardest every game. He can again hold his head up.

so we get 39% possession…. 48 miss tackles and a get a canning in the penaltys....do you think that may of been our problem...**lawrence said after the game they didn't follow the game plan**

That's because they can't work out what it is! It's the same story every week.

Beau is the only one I see playing with heart. On top of the 5 stryker named should be dropped should be Woods. He is too ill-disciplined>>>>gives away too many penalties, especially at crucial times> Not the 1st time I have said this.

To all you Utai baggers, see how many breaks down the wing tonight??? I doubt Tuqiri will defend hard in his 1st few games back

To all you Miller fans who repeatedly bagged out Sheens for not letting him into fg….he didnt do that well as far as I saw. Why do you all rate him so highly? Why would you all call him to fg when u only seem glimpses of him in a handful of mins last year?

Really miss Farah and Galloway for their defence tonight. The way Tigers playing this year, including the preseason games I saw, they wont get far. Defensively, bottom 3 teams.

With Sheens not getting his way by signing Mason ( you would think ), the poor team selection and poor team performance, im starting to think maybe the WT board are finally going to judge his performance at the years end. Sink or swim bro.

We had 43% of the ball and got owned in the forwards, what exactly could Miller do with that?

A good player will make use with limited opportunities with the ball. If we had 57% of the ball, obviously anybody has more chance of doing something good, not just Miller.

^^

I thought Miller went quite okay in a team that was owned. At least he was allowed to play most of his time in the half back position, which is more than he got in his previous NRL time when he was mostly shunted away from the ruck. My opinion is not based on this NRL exposure, it is based on what he has shown in the NYC: ie an actual half back with all the attributes. Should he be given the same opportunity Lui was afforded he will be at least as good.

Last night his touches were pretty good for a 20yo in a pressure situation and he was also isolated a few times in defence (which should not have happened) but handled it okay. Go back and have another look seijai, he was the least of our worries last night.

So in short Marshall is a bad player based on that criteria and last nights game

And we did, we scored 3 tries…..it was the letting them in that was the problem, again what do you expect from a kid with limited first grade games to do with a team that has not been playing like a team?

If people think Miller was the reason for that inept performance. Those same people should start posting their solutions.

I have never seen such a disorganised side like that was out there last night. I do not think there was a game plan. If there was the players did not grab it. His player selection over the past years has been diabolical.
Meaney and Moltzen are definately not up to first grade standard.
How in the hell did he get the job as Australian Coach.

You shouldn't put 2 backs on the bench but come on we can't blame sheens just cause we love the players to much to say its their fault in 05 sheens took a young team and won us a premiership it's early days boys we've all got round 5 blues but we will be back we always start the season poorly

Excuses excuses. It seems as though starting the season poorly has become an acceptable thing to do around here. Yes we can blame Sheens as his diabolical team selections are as much responsible for us being where we are at this stage as the players. You talk about 05, that was 7 yrs ago. Its now 2012 and the players are too comftable with him, and despite the denials, could be a contributing factor over the first month. I find it funny how people will laugh at Parra and Kearney for their start, but Sheens is able to escape accountability for ours
