Anything less for 2025 is failure. Have to raise the standards and stop expecting mediocrity like we have for over a decadeI really think there is no excuse in 2025. The cattle should be there for a top 8 berth.

One that finally recognises incompetence.I suspect Richo has done virtually nothing so far. Those who were sacked took no part in the review, and therefore their future was determined before the review started.
what sort of organisation would preclude the chair and CEO from an external review? 😂
We are still favourites to have the most losses in 2024 with bookmakers based on our roster which was assembled by the clowns. 2025 let’s see what the squad looks like and how are expectations have lifted and then I’ll happily judge someone other than bozo and krusty.Richo Benji and basically the whole club is in the early stages of the honeymoon. Richo and Benji are both respected in the NRL world so at this stage they are seen as the people who are going to make Weststigers great.
Come round one things change or should I say round two, all the media attention turns to results. The back slapping stops and reality kicks in. That’s when Benji and Richo will need to weave their magic because after a couple of bad results the media will be back to their nasty ways
What nonsense! With respect, all Richo’s done is sack a heap of people so far. I know you can draw a parallel between Richo’s appointment and Luai’s signing but in truth it may well have happened anyway. I’m a fan of Richo and am really glad he’s been put in the role but I’ll reserve judgement on his success or otherwise until after half a season or so at least.
Hopefully he extends the 6 months so we can get a better picture on how he impacts the club.

Been on the piss mate? What nonsense!
Richo's remit is not to bring immediate on-field results - but to erdicate the "Brydens Tigers" culture and rejuvenate the Wesys Tigers corporate profile that was decimated by his predescessor and the 2 bob sponsor/Chairman who thought they were above the club!
This is not change for change sake - it is the absolutely necessary reinvention of a brand that hit rock bottom under those clowns!
With an INTERIM CEO who understands that football is our core business (NOT merchandising KPIs setc)!
He has been installed to set the club up for long term competitiveness IAW the recommendations of the independent review!
You gave Pascoe how many years???
But you want immediate success in half a season before you can grasp if Richo is a success???
FMD!!!
Try to keep up mate. Everyone knows the CEO and Chair were useless, but those who hired them were even more incompetent. What a load of crap!!!
The CEO and Chair were incompetent!!!
Richo showed in one singular press conference what truly competent leadership is. And in doing so anyone who still thought Pascoe and co were doing okay went scurrying under the couch. He was hired as a Chief Executive Officer, called himself the Boss , and drove the club to rock bottom. In that position you don’t get to blame the higher ups.Try to keep up mate. These ongoing sackings serve only to appease people who have little to no understanding of organisational behaviour. They’re an admission of incompetence. Try to think past the obvious?
He had the look and was a well known fan as the very early punk scene evolved. Was also mates with Johnny Rotten and was put into the band when the real bass player, Glen Matlock left.Sid was a pure myth. He didn’t play the bass on their record. Haven’t looked too deep into why he was even in the band, but he could barely play. Must have been PR.
Richard's tenure will be directly related to the on field results. You might be right but I'm hoping not.
I'm guessing Richo doesn't know himself.
The six months thing is so he can set a good trajectory before new board is commissioned and he answers to them. Of course he is already answering to the HBG ownership and once the new directors are vetted and appointed no doubt there will be unofficial collaboration so everything is smooth.
But still there must be a formal process.
But I'm speculating that Richardson's tenure will depend on how much of a buzz he gets out of it and how much winning there is.
If he feels that there’s plenty of blue sky there might be a succession of six month contracts.
If not he may move on quickly.
If he moves on quickly we lose much of what he offers. He may put systems in place which is all good but his relationships with the media, players management and the professionalism he brings to football operations by his mere presence is gone.
No you don’t. One thing has always confused me, and that is why the club‘s job spec for many positions included “no experience neended.” It was not because experienced talented people weren’t available or keen to join the club, although that may have been the case on a few occasions? Inexperienced people are more easily managed, in the short term anyway. There was more than one person calling himself the boss. 😂 and we could all see why it wasn’t working.Richo showed in one singular press conference what truly competent leadership is. I had a look at a few of their job specs myself (when they actually decided they’d pay people) and they were horribly written including far too many responsibilities for any one individual. I think Richo will go in there and streamline the whole shebang. No you don’t. I'm still trying to get my head around the Fulton appointment. Usually a job description including, areas of responsibility, regular tasks, occasional tasks, reports to position, positions reporting, communicates with, etc. are sorted and written. They need to know what needs to be done in order to achieve certain results. When the organisation knows these tasks and related responsibilities, they then usually write job specifications which outline the qualities/skills required to complete the assignment. The specs are like a profile of the person theyre looking for. So, the board had Lee and Pascoe do everything back to front based on a phone call from a player agent who essentially told them of at least 2 players who would be happy to sign on, providing they hired Fulton. Fulton was hired not knowing what his job was, other than what his agent told him and given those instructions, naturally he wasnt reporting to the head coach or anyone else in the footy department.I had a look at a few of their job specs myself (when they actually decided they’d pay people) and they were horribly written including far too many responsibilities for any one individual. Maybe have a bex and a good lie down.
I didn’t give Pascoe anything and if you read my post I said 6 months won’t be long enough to make any real change and I’d hope he get longer.
Did you read both of my posts?"but I’ll reserve judgement on his success or otherwise until after half a season or so at least."
Just keep contradicting yourself petal....
I assume he was spending most of his time at the beach or the coffee shop when with us.I'm still trying to get my head around the Fulton appointment. Its weird right? They seem to waste all this money with poor decisions re HR because of their inability to work together, but somehow justify savings on travel costs, dencorub, bandages etc. and expect the team to work together?I assume he was spending most of his time at the beach or the coffee shop when with us.
