Prince at his best was a great player. I think his best is past him and I don't wont him back at our club.
If management has lost Lui a guy we found, developed and stood by I will be very dirty. Especially as good halfbacks a like gold in todays NRL, look at Sandow he is worth $500,000 plus a season. What will Lui be worth in the next few years?
For mine a sway for Lui for Pronce is a backwoods move.

you're right. it isnt a coincidence. john morris isnt in the halves anymore stuffing our attack up!

He is by memory at about 40 first grade games now - his best years are to come and though I am a big Miller fan I think it will be a huge blow if we lose him.

Helmesy, you make a very good point on Lui.We would hate to lose Lui and see him turn into another Sandow.Arguably one of the best halfbacks in the game at the moment.

Only a fool would pick John Morris in the halves . . .
2007, 2008, 2009\. Wasted years.

@Costaki said:I agree with everyone here, Prince is past it and signing him would be a step backwards for the tigers, even if it was on the cheap, which it wouldn't be.
But I don't really understand all the animosity towards him. He won us a premiership, then decided that he wanted to move back home to Queensland to be closer to his family. Is that so bad? Yes, we ressurected his career, but I still can't blame him for leaving, and I was very sad to see him go. The John Morris debacle only compounded that.
It's a while ago now so my memory is a bit hazy, but I don't remember his form dropping off that much either. In fact at the back end of 2006, with a host of injuries and no Benji, he was carrying the team.
Scotty Prince will always have a special place for me. The 2005 premiership was his for mine. Of course it was a team effort, and Benji provided the spark, and robbie and hodgo lots of options, but Prince was the general and the main reason we won it, and for that reason he remains my favourite player not wearing a tigers jersey.
The Benji/Prince combo was right up there with the best halves combo I have ever seen. Langer and Walters, Daley and Stuart… there has been none better than Prince and Benji. If they'd had a few more years together who knows what might have happened.
