Next seasons fullback will be Lazarus.
That is VERY evident.
I feel sorry for MM…he's played really well in the handful of games he's played over the past two seasons.
It's pretty much common knowledge though that Tim does not want a 'conventional fullback' (i.e. a support player).
He wants a ballplayer back there.
MM isn't in his long term plans.
How is it evident Lazarus will be fullback? He's never played a first grade game, has been out injured for 2 years and when he came back from injury last year he was named on the bench for our second string team. I'd go as far to say that no way in hell will Lazarus even be considered for the role. He MAY come into calculations mid year after he's regained some confidence, but until then dont even bother putting him in your plans. It takes a long time to overcome one knee reconstruction let alone two, and yes, ive had two reconstructions, so i know from experience we have to be patient with the kid.
