Wonder why he doesnt get a start this monday against the tigers even with Mullen out and Gidley at Halfback still cant get a run, they opted to put Wes Nqaima at fullback in stead, with poor old shannon playing for the centurions instead. Do think he would have been peppered with bombs all night thats why hes not playing?????hes not that safe under a high ball.

the knights fans give him the same grief our forum gives moltzn at fullback - suspect under high ball, suspect defense, and soft in hitups. Wes is a bit like our Matty Utai - they seem to appreciate his effort.

however, difference is, McDonnell hasn't had a season ending injury to come back from and find his feet again - he just sucks.

You guys must not watch the games or read the stats?? Since Shannon came back in he has been one of the Knights best!! He has been eveywhere and in everything… Against Canberra, He would have been close to MOM (If he didn't get it) I read in RLW stats last week, He is amongst the highest in Try saving tackles (I think) in the comp if it wasn't TST it was line breaks or some substantial stat. And he's only played a handful of games...
At the back he is MILES and MILES ahead of Moltzen as far as positional play, Defense in general and especially under the high ball.... If anyone gets to Morrie Breen on Saturday you will know what I mean!!
All this talk of Moltzens season ending injury excuse, Best go back and watch rounds 1-5 of last year... They will note his poor form into his Injury!! The last couple of games he has shown promise, And I am holding out hope, Especially if he is to take the #1 From Browny and Wadeo... But as for his form pre injury?? Forget about it!!
ps: I have said games on DVD (the whole season in fact) If anyone wants a copy so they can see the TRUTH.. Drop me a line...

I read somewhere McDonnell was injured but regardless Wes has been in nearly career best form after a few years in the wilderness. It will be headaches again if we give the likes of Sau, Uate and Naiqama room to move like we did last week. We need to push up off our line hard and meet them, otherwise their powerful running games will badly show us up. With Ellis, Galloway and Tuqiri back in the front line we should be a lot more structured and switched on..

Yeh he's no great player of rep level, he may be considered a fringe first grader or back up….but he's competent at NRL level....plenty of others at his level.
