Fantastic debut tonight by Shawn a.k.a The Smiling Assassin - let’s hope he really develops into that quality forward we’ve heard about without any more set backs due to injuries he could well be that future Captain.

Smiling Assassin 😄

Hopefully that smile haunts Brown for a while. Blore owned him tonight.

Our future is bright.
Outstanding effort.
Can.t teach that - it comes from inside.

Yep, you can see it can't you. That can't be coached into you.

Oh my gosh. That’s one of the best debuts I have seen for the Tigers.
Hits like a truck in defence. Not over awed. This guy is going to be a monster

Awesome debut, belted Brown all night with a smile on his face — very impressive.

Wow wow wow. What a debut , I’d be scared to run at him. Nathan brown was killing us until Blore came on. How good is our forward pack looking when they are all on the field.

Even better than the hits was his mental strength. He looked physically shot a couple of time but still managed to hold his own.....and smash brown 3 times.

Impressive

I thought we handled Brown well. McIntyre went low on him a few times and cut him down early. He ran hard, as usual, but was contained.

I haven’t seen the forum buzzing about a debut since a kid named Tedesco.

Ah you mean the one where he hit the deck with an ACL after 15 mins? Maybe the re-debut the following year.

re Blore, his first two hits were mega, he got up smiling his butt off, I was immediately impressed. Not just big contact but the follow-up strength once he stuck. We got done tonight but the forwards really muscled up front-on, I haven't seen Junior Paulo hammered so many times in one game, and Nathan Brown was just owned at the end (and early with a few legs tackles by McIntyre). Mika Sivo similarly, I guess he's injured, but Rowdy and then Macca lopped him, he was ginger to his feet several times.

Just let ourselves down with a bit of lateral defence, talking about you Josh Aloiai.

I was worried Blore would fade because of the bench situation but he played really good minutes for a debut and having had limited preparation for a year. Straight back on the bench for next week for sure, good kid.

Blore played 46 mins and didn’t look like slowing down, tbh I reckon he will be our starting 13 by the end of the year with Twal shifting back into the prop rotation. Maybe

McIntyre has got some amazing defence. He went low but brown always ended up going forward. With Blore his aggression was sending brown backwards.

Man,what a pickup from the panthers
He is a beast.got a bit of Tapine about him

Took the words out of my mouth..has that same aggressive, hard approach to the game

Yep 🙂 tried to hurt with every tackle
Looked good with the ball also.how good is it,we finally steal one from another club

Some people take opportunity ties with both hands - he took it with a couple of shoulders and a smile. Can’t wait to see more of him next week

Lets saviour this moment of Blore
To be honest, Tedesco didn't bring the excitement to this club that Blore has managed to do in one debut game
Blore has really come from nowhere
Lets hope he can bring his game each week
He obviously loves the game
Even though he took Brown on and won that battle, he had the class to run up to Brown after the game to shake his hand
This kid gets it
War on the field
Gentleman off it

He really impressed me. Coming off an ACL, FG debut, called in at the 11th hour, team were walking wounded and he answered the call.

Got some guys that like to hurt people on and off the ball. Blore, Big Mac, even Packer has rediscovered his mongrel.
