This Guy is Young, Big and a great Attitude.

Be patient He's only 20

Didn’t realise his age, I’ll judge him fully after 50 NRL games. We need him to lift.

Forwards need a few more games. I reckon Blore will be special.

I want to love Blore I really do. But he is the great white hope around here and I’m sorry but I haven’t seen enough from him to warrant the wraps.

Obviously I want to be wrong, but in my experience you can usually tell whether a player has “it” in his first few games.

That’s not to say he can’t still be a very handy first grader. But I haven’t seen any evidence whatsoever that he’s the circuit breaker back rower we’ve been looking for and he’s been touted as.

Yes has not shown a great deal in the 12 minutes of game time Madge gives him each half.

More importantly... Any update on the extent of his injury?

From Fox NRL:

TIGERS

Shawn Blore (ankle) - TBC

Adam Doueihi (concussion) - Round 16

Thomas Mikaele (knee) – Round 17

Russell Packer (knee) – indefinite

AJ Keapoa (knee) – season

Packer, why do they bother updating him. Nobody cares and that probably includes himself.

I care that the club has wasted millions on him

Days are numbered.

He has hamstrung our cap for years, total waste of money

If we knew what we know now, he wouldn't have been signed, but at the time, he was a good signing.

He Madge took thewas never a good signing imo and i am not just saying it now i was against his signing at the time.

Cleary, his coach at Penrith offered him to Madge despite making known that he had a previous ACL injury. Madge took the risk and signed him for a couple of years.

Unfortunately he’s lived off his debut and standing up to Brown. If it wasn’t for that game, there’s nothing really noteworthy to mention. He is only 20 though. I think Seyfarth has shown this year you shouldn’t give up on young kids too soon.

Blore is a goer, he has great defence and rarely gets decent ball to make an impact in attack. He is generally used for his defence. At 20 years old he has alot of footy in front of him, he is also a big unit and if he wasnt injured to start the season i think he would of had a bench spot locked up or even of started ahead of Garner.

I was talking about Packer not Blore.Blore is still young and could be what we need.Packer was never what we needed

if anyone wants to see a stat that reinforces blores quality, he has 100% tackle efficiency this year. hasn't missed a tackle all year. on an edge. he's exactly what we need right now.

Would have started and then finished with him against the slimes. Instead we got carved up there by Brown, who would have been taking glances at the defensive line, rather than punching though it or ball playing with abandon.

And no, I don't have a fairytale memory of his debut, just reckon he provides a lot more oomph in short stints and our edges need less minutes for more impact. Shawn attracting eyes in the line and Lucy coming on against somewhat tired players that would have more trouble running around him would almost certainly be better.

Finishing off for Garner and more than capable of running similar lines off Brooks is the cherry on top.

Which supports our comments

People see 15 minutes from him and think he is the next Gareth Ellis

you replied to an injury related post.... while I agree whole heartedly with you, Blore came hardened mentally, but hadnt grown into his body to match. We all saw Sonny Bill, but if you remember his first few seasons he was very similar, full of hard man beans but spent alot of time nursing injuries related to collisions.

Blore wont make this season. Flopping into the 8 means nothing, thats weak supporters mentality. I think bench rotation has been absurd as the next fan, but Blore needs to grow into his body still. Nurturing his development is paramount to long term success.

It might be just me but Last year Blore was that player that just ran hard and made the defence watch out for him like Isaiah Papali'i does to eels. He seems to just fit in now and no real dominant presents as we need a player that just makes others follow him. A little disappointed so far this year and hope he gets that angry pill back

He is a starter...Madge has left him sitting until 30 mins and even until second half. Normally games are gone when he gets on. The early battle has been lost.

He should be starting and helping win the early battles.

He has all the tools. I liked how Uto would make a run then Blore would take the next hitup.
