First time I have heard a coach complain about being under the radar so to speak.

Oh well roll on the 4pm replay

Ever heard of positive reinforcement??

Sheensie is backing our boys efforts up.

The time for flying under the radar is over, its close to the semi's.

Sheenanigans through to the keper again methinks.

sheens has stated on more than 1 occasion that he believes one of the roles as coach is to instill confidence in his players.
public backing is as high as it goes.

but in the end they are just words.
if the players are reading this and relaxing, then they will never win if it is written or not.

couldn't give a stuff what is written.
just show me on the field each week.

Doesn't this thread and the comments in it just re-inforce EXACTLY what Sheens is talking about?? :unamused:

Face it…it's a crap competition this year, WT are playing extremely average thus far, and are virtually at the top of the ladder. WT are the epitome of setting the precedence of playing below average and are NOW getting away with it...

2010 is the Bradbury Cup. Anyone can win it, but it will depend on who CHOKES first..

We have not played well in a long time but we have grinded out some ugly wins and had our fair share of luck for a change. In saying that the reason we have not been playing so well is pretty simple, we have had no no7\. Take the no7 out of any side in the comp and see how they go!!

Now this is where Sheens comes into the equation,by not opting to use a lower grade no7, instead changing the whole dynamics of the team by shifting Marshall to no7 probably is the biggest reason for our poor form of late. With Lui back this week it will be interesting to see if our attack starts to gel again. My worry with Lui is he has played very little football this year and with the stakes getting bigger each week Iam not so sure he is up to the challenge.

Today will be the day a lot of questions get answered, Manly will be a very good yard stick. It doesn't even have to be a win. My fears are you just cant keep picking weak benches and expect to beat good sides. Time will tell

Exactly.
Maybe the team needs a bit of a morale boost. Once you're on a winning role, winning the next one doesn't look like a big deal so you're not as motivated.

from experience I dont find this statement to be true at all.

Todays game is even more evidence that Sheens has no bloody idea!!!

The sooner we get rid of this dinosaur the better.

Today's effort clearly outlines the reason we aren't being wrapped you idiot. We finally came up against a team who had some points in them and what happened? we got rolled. We'll still make the eight but there are still a whole host things we need to clean up and this bloke (Sheens) needs to stop being ignorant and start addressing the problems.

Dont hold your breath tim wont admit anything and wont change anything.

dont hold your breath CC…..
weve seen it way too many times for things to suddenly change ......is it too simple an ask to just play a player in his right position ?im not a fitzy bagger but whenever a key player is out he slots him straight into his position .......
the grunt up front is a drama .. and why does sheensie always use the turn the pill back into the forwards to make them tired plan ... it also stuffs our forwards and we get rolled straight up the middle .....
