i know where people stood but with things not looking so stable now i am wondering if some people have changed their opinion

Yeah fair enough, Alien. I'm sure some people have changed their opinion, in light of recent instability, but it still doesn't mean we can do anything about it, so it's becoming pretty pointless arguing with each other over the same things, again and again, in various different threads, don't you think?

Good point - Cunno. I think you may well have hit the nail on the head.

As for the Penrith offer, I think the pokie tax will hit them very hard (hence Gus' rant in the SMH and the roast today). Sheens is no fool and may would have been aware of proceedings. He may not have been overly keen to go and has decided to play ball with the powers that be.

I also heard Gould on the Roast today going on about the pokie tax, and whilst I agree with him to a point about the impact of the tax, he sounded like the very politicians he was knocking and using the media to do it , to boot. As for sheens the jury is out as to whether he is a pawn in the big WTs picture or a prawn in it :stuck_out_tongue:
