Firstly, Sheen’s come back is one nobody could of resisted.

However, sorry for the seriousness Simon, i’m assuming Gallen footage was from last night’s NRLonFOX.
Him and Soward were both on and were asked what their respective clubs game plans to beating the Tigers were and both said ‘play tough and up the middle’.
Matty Johns quite rightly commented that it’s embarrassing for the Tiger’s that this is how oppositions see our team.
Especially as league is a game based around toughness and we don’t face up to this most fundamental element.

On a side note, Cam Smith later said how he’d have Mason at the storm in a heart beat, and in fact pushed for the club to get him in 2010.

Another side note, i would have made 10 times my number posts by now if for whatever reason i didn’t keep having them not make it onto threads.
I have to always remember to write them in word first so i can copy & paste. I’m generally too lazy to re-write my dribble.

they beat us all over the park but on the scoreboard thanks to jarrad both the player that charged the kick down and player next to him were offside by a mile peanlty in front of sticks game over. sharks were bad we were worse.

Nice come back by sheens,but our forwards were soft & until they change this bad habit,opposition packs will be trying to do the same thing.would of loved to been in the dressing room on friday night to hear sheens spray.I'm sure they would of been embarrassed how they played & will be fired up to not let it happen again especially with our pommy enforcer back to lead the way

I admit I had a chuckle at Sheens' comment. However we only won that game due to a poor ref decision.

For those bagging Gallen, I've read him quoted in the past saying he quite likes the Tigers, and he did tip us to win the comp this year.

He is right. We are soft. Even our captain has said it yet it seems that some of our fans just refuse to admit it.

its hard to let a player from any other club say we are soft up the middle , yes i think we need to stiffen up the middle thats why i agree with signing mason , but lets see where gallen and his team finnish , they had big guys leave there club and they now have 2 ex tigers big boys in the middle , mason may not come , so our young guys will need to have a real dig until we field a team that has big red and ellis in it , gallen may eat his words when we go 2 up on the sharks this year

I think for a few around here the truth hurts.

Fact, without Gibbs, Galloway and Ellis we are soft up the middle, it can be fixed but based on about 75% of our play this season its hard to disagree with Gallen.

I agree but take you best two forwards from any team and they are much weaker

Hes got a point in the first 3 rounds…but if we beat one of the biggest packs this week then what will be said.sharks didnt beat us up the middle and either did the fancied manly pack so 1 game they are judging it on.If hes talking about years gone by then its not saying much about the 2 players they signed from us.lol

Maybe he knows ink and doesnt appreciate a player from a another club telling him what the problems are.

We did match the sharks pack so hes not saying much about his own side
