Sheensie arks up against Gallen

The fact that we try to play razzle dazzle football too early, play too lateral and drop balls is the main reason we're getting owned up the middle.
The opposition forwards are not doing enough tackling.
Ellis coming back will help, and i hope they work on the offloads amongst the forwards rather than sending it out to the backs on tackles 1, 2 or 3.

We were soft against Saints. I dont think were soft against Manly or the Sharks. It comes down to attitude. We didint have it against the Saints. We will have it against the Raiders. They key problem is consistency, we cant seem to be able to do it week in , week out, the way the Storm do.

Can you seriously call guys like Ellis, Blair or Farah soft?

Just beautiful Sheensy.

"SOFT" - thats ridiculous and even more so some of our fans are buying into it.

Our forwards haven't been SOFT, they've been BUGGERRED. Key injuries during games has left us with 3 on the bench and the young props have had to play extra minutes. Terrible completion rates have meant we've spent too much time defending. The same can be said for a 9-3 penalty count to St George. We've just been chasing our tails.

I can just about garuantee if we have no injury issues and we complete atleast 65% we will win for sure.
Benji and Moltzen need to make sure they execute a game plan that will give their young props some breathers. Thats a possesion game with a big focus on our kicking game.

Nice come back from Sheens…

However, Gallen is right and when he played us we had our strongets pack on the field. If the Dragons players had of said this we would be right to criticise them as we were weakened through injury.

When The Sharks played us we had
A current Australian prop,
A current Australian touring party hooker,
A current NZ Second rower
A current English second rower and,
A current English lock,
...all playing.

Gallen thought we were a little weak up the guts considering we had 5 international rep players in our starting pack. That concerns me.

So is it rediculous that our captain thinks we're soft?

With the Sahrkies game I thought it was more a case of excellent play by Carney. In that 2nd half all I can remember him doing is running to the line, drawing our forwards then turning the ball back inside to put a support player through a hole. My memory may have the better of me but I cant recall them running over top of us.
St george did go straight through us but as I say I think it was more to do with injuries, poor completion rate and in turn us defending too much.

No doubt they need to muscle up more in the middle, but I'm just suggesting there was alot more to it then us just being SOFT.
On a side note this criticism is nothing but good for the fast development of Woods and Groat. They'll benefit later in the season from this poor start and wide criticism.

Robbie Farah said we were SOFT.

I guess you think he is wrong then…

Everyone take a deep breath! It's along season. We won against the Sharkies. It was round 1\. We were always going to be rusty…BUT WE WON! We weren't beaten up the middle. We were tough against last years premiers till Ellis went off and Moltz left the field. We were poor against St Whinge but we had injuries!!! No need to start panicking. We will beat the Raiders even though we are down players and we'll be back. RELAX!!!! Support the Tigers!!!!

And when are you going to keep quoting him til Round 26 , 2018

Thats avoiding the question Happy. Another warrior like performance from Gallen again tonight, proving that what he says about opposing forwards should carry a lot of weight. But thats ok, we'lll just bury our heads in the sand and ignore the biggest talking point about this and just laugh at Sheens hillarious comeback. I'm sure Gallen would have reason to laugh at him even more week to week with Sheens team selections

Dead right mate, Gallen showed tonight what defence really is.

Lets take out the same players from the Sharks Gallen and one of their props and let them play the Saints away from home after a flogging and see how they go Maybe they would be "soft' as well

GNR the Saints form is stacking up they just beat Manly as well

Some on here just don't get it The team is trying to learn a completely new style of defence with a very young and inexperienced forward pack up front due to injuries This IS going to take some time Maybe longer than a lot of us initially thought

But thats ok You just bag them out after a "bad" performance Which is your right don't get me wrong

I've just always thought you had a good head on your shoulders when it came to having some foresight into what the Tigers are trying to achieve Perhaps I was wrong

I'm just going off what our captain has said. If i'm off, he must be too

Well lets put it this way GNR Lets put you in Fulton's shoes for a moment

Fulton played himself to almost standstill the other night True?? I think most would agree

How would you have felt if your skipper called your performance soft after you had just played your ring out

Let me tell you how I would of reacted And this in no BS

If my skipper had said in a press conference after I had made 46 tackles and hit the ball up like the way he did I would of approached him afterwards and asked him if he really felt this way and if he said 'Yes" I would have cordially invited him out the back of the dressing rooms and kindly shown him what soft was

Farah said we were soft Him and Sheens had to say something to fire the team up for this week

Thats why I think it is lip service Just like "playing one week at a time ' or "happy to get the victory"
