I tried to drag an NRMA bloke over the counter a long time ago, that didn’t work either. @mikey approach is much better, but it’s taken me another few decades to be able to perfect it.
Still working on it.
 
TV arrived Monday. Great picture etc. One mystifying thing is although it's a Google TV you can't use Chrome as a browser on it. Instead there's a clunky bit of rubbish. Everything else good though. They gave a 150 back as way of apology. Take the money n run.

Don't start me on norma. One of their vans caused 1k damage on BMW 1000 I had in the 80s. He lied n ripped me off.
Will not say how but reaped my revenge 30 years later x 2 with interest.

Don't know how old you are but that was a month's take home in the day. It's also a matter of my bent principles as well.
You would expect Norma to have at least basic honesty. That swizzler lied to the cops n his boss.
If u had it done to you, I'd expect you'd be looking for payback too.
I'm a useless fighter so seek revenge via other means.

I purchased a TV from Grace Bros./Meyers many years ago and it had developed a problem, so took it back to the store and was told by the shop assistant in a rude way that as the warranty expired the prev. day, to go away.
The retailers held all the power back in those days, as you found out.

Why would you keep this in your mind for 30 years though while waiting to get revenge.

This is a perfect case for home security cameras [today] to show the actual evidence, without any doubt what happened.
Front and rear car dash cams as well.

Reach out again , tell them 150 is an insult .If you play them right settle for nothing less than 30% of original price
They've owned up to the problem , put them up against the ropes now.
