Short of Props.

The more i go through our team, the more i am convinced we are one or two props short, does anyone else think this?.

Most on this forum feel we are one or two props short.

Whilst Woods is a Trojan freak, I cannot imagine him repeating his feat of playing every game next year.

Unless we recruit or one more of the 20's step up quickly, we are one long term injury from peril.

Unfortunately we lost Moors, however, we still have Bell and at BRET Seumanufagai, at NYC Buchanan, Sue, Fotuaika, Brown, Paasi and Groat. IMHO that should provide enough depth.

we've lost moors and most likely cashmere this offseason. I think we've got enough players on the rotation in 20s and NSW cup it's more so whether or not any of them will step up.

We've got from the 20s Fotuaiki, Sue, Buchanan, Paasi (was captain of dragons U20s this year) as well as Ava Seumanufagai from NSW cup who sheens was on record as rating this year. Any of these players you think will make 1st grade next year?

I am not to worried ….as above have seen a few guys that could kick on in the lower grades there is defiantly talent there.

Woods
Galloway
Bell (although effective in the backrow)
Seumanufagai
Groat
Fotuaika
Sue
Buchanan
Paasi

It would have been nice to hold onto Moors but that's not to be. There's some young goers in there, but we'll certainly be caught short of both Woods and Galloway are injured for any period of time.

I'd love to see Paasi and Fotuaki on the bench next year. I think they both have some xfactor about them, Paasi in particular who could be a wrecking ball up the middle.

Also forgot to add Andrew Vela. I've not seen him play but by all reports he was our best player this year before going down for the season early on. Having seen pictures of him he is a big unit!

Seumanufagai should be the first to debut IMHO, a year in NSW Cup did him a lot of good

He certainly looked the goods in the state cup GF.

I also think Fotuaki will handle the step up to first grade more than capably.

Seems there are quite a few players coming through with a good amount of natural aggression in their game, which is positive for the club.

And Pettybourne. He's a unit.

Jaysus I didnt know it was that dire….Kilo has a permanent foot injury....very light on old heads

Pettybourne is not a prop

Justin Poore would have been perfect. Ahhh well

I reckon he has been poor (pun intended) for a few seasons.

I think early in the year we will have to have a 4 prop rotation, and the young blokes should be capable of doing a good 20-25mins each, or perhaps rotating with Bell to give them experience without burning them.

I have alot of confidence in Buchanan, Fotuakia and Groat, as long as they are not asked to do too much.

does anyone think the merrits of getting a bloke like Kite involved would outweigh the negatives of us getting Kite involved?

How about the BRET props…?

Seamanufagai is the BRET prop. Others were moors and cashmere who are gone

Yes Moors is a loss and the non-signing of Kite is a blow also. Lots of up and coming talent on that list, but nowhere near enough with FG experience. It's the toughest job on the field and signing someone like Kite would have been real handy to help Galloway and Bell mentor some of the young guys through.

big keith needs nurturing and tuition himself to become a FG moors was a much better proposition now has departed as well blocker roach and noel kelly may have to pull a boot on before we have finished 2013.
