Without a doubt, yes - he has to go.
We must need to get something good out of it in the end.

Also think, it has set a precedent and the NRL needs to step in and put some policies in place to ensure nonsense like this doesn't continue happening.

We need to end this circus ASAP. We need to get a player out of it though which may be near impossible the way things are looknig at the club at the moment. I fear the damage may have already been done to the club and playing group for the year unfortunately.

Richo & Benji need to meet with the senior players and explain that Lachlan is our best 6 at this moment in time. They then need to meet with Lachlan and explain that he’s got his spot as long as his form justifies it.

They then need to put out a media release affirming that he’ll be developed by the Wests Tigers until the end of his contract, unless we receive an adequate player coming our way. No further comment or media conjecture will be entered into.

If Lachy tanks, its back to Magpies.

The above is a snapshot of how complex this issue is.

Such an unnecessary development last Monday. This should have been kept in house.
For mine, this guy is a resource, a resource better than we used in a few positions yesterday. I’d put KPIs on him and reinstate him immediately. I’d also be working behind the scenes to move him on with compensation ASAP.

Depends on how it plays out the next few weeks really.

If we get a good player in return or Lachy proves that he’s bigger than his management, good on Richo for calling them out.

This should have been done last week.
But everyone had to go and get all emotional. It’s been raining Fruit Pascals all week,
I think our tactics around Gal signing a contract has been poor.
It seems like we didn’t have a plan in place if Gal said no. Then when he did say no, and backed it up with a backhander to the face, everyone went and got emotional. 🥲
We should have stayed calm and said kool thanks for letting us know early.
And then implemented our “Gal said no” plan that we obviously didn’t have, but as soon as we have a couple of losses he becomes the scapegoat. Back to cup, and possibly a new position.
Now we look like gooses again.
I don’t know the Deets but letting the Large boy go to keep someone who hasn’t signed and been asking to leave was always gunna be an error.

I wouldn't make any further comment as a club.

Not a single word.

Let Moses get increasingly desperate for the headlines and hang their camp with their own rope.

In the meantime, Galvin is a contracted player who will perform his duties, either in first grade or reserves as he is needed.

Part of me wants to see him rot. And I definitely don’t want to see him prance off a year early to earn a million dollars. But if it meant us getting a marquee player in return, then sure. I just hope the way he’s acted has affected his price tag. Probably hasn’t, but my fingers are crossed. We’ll never really know.

Its not as simple as 'gal said no' though

Gal has also launched legal action against the club and basically told team mates to f off...but i suppose we shouldve suspected this might happen after all weve done for him and had a plan in place for that ???

He has lost the trust of his ex team mates...you cannot force that and expect it to magically work on the field once again

The other point is Galvin wants to leave....is desperate to get out

Any incoming replacement for him will not have that same desire to leave X and arrive at Concord.
Getting equal or better value in return will not be an easy thing to do

We need best 17 on the park every game.

If Galvin is part of that then he needs to be included.

I just want to win.
Exactly. Players don’t all love each other but they can see who is having a go. If he starts to tank he gets dropped and it affects his reputation going into any new deal.

No way we should let him go early without a very good player as part of a swap. He stays and we use him as required if no swap.

Will be interesting what the Parra deal is worth if rumours true? Essentially they are bidding against themselves with other clubs formally pulling out.

Agree , Nrl should make a player if he ask for release to play at new club on same deal as old club , Galvin $ 250 in 2025 and $ 350 in 2026 , if that players doesn’t want to play for the club he can leave but nrl can’t register new contract until old one expires , Galvin 2027 , We now have both Matta and Tumeth now bungling it on and they are both crap players , it hursts the clubs to much

Moses was always going to leak the grievances it was never going to be kept quiet as soon as Dylan Brown signed with Parra - the plan was in motion. Richo got on the front foot because the Moses minions were armed and loaded with the scoop. He had to get in first to protect Benji.
I don’t think that’s true at all.
Moses would have kept doing what he’s been doing in the shadows.
We only know about this because Richardson told us.
Once the cat was out of the bag, they began agitating.
