I don’t know all the facts regarding the young player however, having led people for 25 years in the corporate workplace something doesn’t add up.

If allegations of an unsafe workplace or bullying are made then said employee is stood down from work at full pay until an investigation is concluded by the relevant people at the club, union and legal representation.

If true penalties are likely and it usually ends in a settlement. If said employee comes to work in the same team environment it’s either negligence from the employer and or frivolous accusations from the employee.

Professional sports are different as a players value is determined by playing football however, either all issues are sorted and he plays on and or he won’t be at work. It’s simple. You can’t work in Australia in the modern day with legal claims against your employer regarding an unsafe workplace.
