Should/Will RF get his Leichhardt farewell given we are out of contention?

Ink, if you have something constructive to add, then please post. Gary just admitted he wasn't there and has no idea about what transpired at the meeting. Were you at the meeting?

I can't speak for Ink, but I was busy that day. I do know someone that did attend and this is what he said afterwards:

https://youtu.be/-2txqtU3orQ

Based on his statement, I came to the following conclusion:

Farah was told he was free to negotiate with other clubs.
If he didn't leave, he could be playing State Cup.

It's that simple.

Any one still defending Robbie at this stage please go watch the video on his twitter page

https://twitter.com/robbiefarah

The video about Taylor driving a poor player to contemplate suicide.

The video perhaps orchestrated by his manager, Weidler and promoted by Robbie Farah.

We owe RF his money and nothing more due to years of self inflicted drama.

I watched this video, but I don't get it. In the video, Sitaleki said it straight out himself that Taylor dropped him and made him play halfback, without explanation or any feedback/assistance to help him improve his game. He also said that he was made to feel unwelcome at training and that there was a negative vibe going on. He also stated that he was there at the game to support Robbie Farah, because he is now going through the same thing that he (SItaleki) and others have gone through recently (i.e. under Jason Taylor's reign as head coach)

Nobody made this up or orchestrated it - Sitaleki sat there and said it all himself in the video! So, I'm sorry, but I fail to see how this video casts a spur on Farah at all. If anything it shows up Taylor's true colours, sadly.

Blimey

Talk about dejavu.
2 rounds to go…

Haven't read back far enough in this thread, but in Rugby league week apparently Farah is now planning on suing the Tigers.

Farah may have a strong case, but is it worth the pain. Why not just pack your bags and leave with dignity. He is not the first player to be told their not wanted, and he has a big fat contract so he will not be going to the soup kitchen.

Do you think he even knows what that means?

Doesn't get paid if he walks out.

The ego wouldn't stand for that.

I think it's fair to say that if they pay him what's owed, he will go, and good on him

I honestly he won't play for Tigwra again. It is a shame he has been valuable player for many years. Yes he will get his money I don't believe we will see him play in Australia again.

RF can have his farewell in the court house. Finished as far as I'm concerned.

I get the feeling that a few people who were sitting on the fence when it came to the Farah saga are now jumping off onto the clubs side of the fence

People get sick of the drawn out process.
The club told him to look for another club for a long time but he decides to fight it out.
He only has himself to blame.

Every time Robbie is in the news getting up to his tricks he loses a few more supporters.

No the problem is they never stuck to their word. JT comes out last year and says your not wanted. Pascoe comes in and says yes he is. He plays first grade up to round 18 i think. Then he gets dropped. If the club supported Jt from the get go, and Farah wasnt selected to play at the start of the year then he would have had all year. We won the last 2 games he played in. Then the club comes out with all this BS about why he was dropped. Farah has stuffed up by not keeping his mouth shut, but your kidding yourself if you think the club has handled this well. Its been a debacle.

More like The Poseidon Adventure than a debacle !

Can't wait until all this craps over .

You have proven my point. Jt never wanted farah from day one. He was overridden by the people in the board room and just done what he was told and got on with coaching. Never complained.

JT is the coach and gets to choose the squad and will fall on his sword if we fail.
Your grudge is with the board, not the coach.

I think you might be right but the point is Robbie had and has a contract with the club. JT can pick him in reserve grade and if we fail then he should get the sack.

I think JT's decision making on Robbie has been extremely poor. We are a better team with Robbie playing.

In stating that I can't wait until Robbie goes. The latest media beat-up about Robbie suing the club is laughable. Robbie should come out and state there is no way he is suing the club and he can't wait to play his next game even if it is in reserve grade.

I just read that an article that Geo posted where Robbie denies suing the club. Thank god for that.
