Should/Will RF get his Leichhardt farewell given we are out of contention?

This is the second time I've copy and pasted this from the 'Should Farah Come In?' thread in the Tigers v Panthers subject area;

My answer at the start was no and my answer now is still no. He was demoted because of his ball hogging, slow service out of dummy half and likely tendency to inhibit Brooks and Moses. Also, it's patently obvious that there's a personality clash between Taylor and Farah and, therefore, team chemistry is better without him. I believe this was the right decision and the team's development is better off without Robbie, experience or no experience. It's sad that a club icon has to finish this way and miss playing his 250th game at Leichhardt but I can't see him coming in, despite the fact we clearly need a second hooker in the squad. If Liddle can get another chance that would be excellent because he is the future of the club, not Robbie now.

1) RF shouldn't be blamed for us losing a game we can't win with or without him based on the to many cooks theory and then just throw in it in as another stat justifying one side of a personal feud decision making process

2) Handled poorly by the club.. bringing RF back in FG will just add more media drama

3)RF should concentrate on a title win with reserve grade, collect his cheque and move on in 2017 in a win win scenario.

Personally I'm a Robbie F fan, the bloke should have retired at 30 though he is still currently the best hooker in the club and the whole chopping and moving players out of position is ridiculous.. I would have copped it though last Friday night was a joke and the draw has been exceptionally kind to us in 2016.. We will get mulled in the last two games

Simple reason is that he will have all of next year to try and break into first grade to make it to the milestone.

This is a professional and competitive environment, If he's not up to it anymore then he shouldn't be playing.

I'm not a Robbie supporter by any stretch. I was, but not after what he has done.

But I think he deserves a farewell. We are a club that will never complete solely with the chequebook. We need to show the juniors that you'll suffer consequenses if you don't meet expectations, but the club will still take the high ground and treat you with repect when appropriate, even if you haven't shown the club any.

We need to retain our players by instilling in our juniors with culture, pride, passion and mateship.

We'll never be a force if we complete on money alone.

Farah withdrew from State Cup today due to a Virus and hadn't trained all week…

They need to be carefully managed..

I don't know what virus he has but if it is the one I'm just getting over after three weeks (and that has killed 45 people in NSW so far) then I don't blame him for not getting out of bed. It's brutal. PS - he's probably a lot fitter than me, but just saying, there's a real virus out there.

The situation has eroded into a circus anyway - it may bring more crowds in and he gives a good performance as he always does win win.
