He was originally on Manly's top 30 this year! We got an extra year's development out of him on a non NRL contract which is a win as he isn't up to NRL standard yet.
Was a powerhouse in the u19s origin a couple of years ago and was highly rated, not sure what's slowed his progress.
 
Can't sign a decent coach, Brooks is burnt out after playing behind a weak pack and slow and talentless backs, he needs a change. Meanwhile King AD fans think him the very slow but talented Hastings are the best things since sliced bread. Then the Pom and the media, tell us that the club is building around these two!-- heaven help us ! Both would not get a run in the halves in any other club. It gets worse by the day.

Broncos have massive wraps on Blake Mozer who should debut late this or early next year. throw in Walsh and they're going to be very strong for a number of years.

Mozer was average in the 19s origin the other night eh...

Read the reports about how he was a gun, next Cam Smith, etc.

Big wraps.
But was weak in the Origin game.

Idk where they fit them all tbh. Walsh you’d think would play fullback, but at the same time, I thought that’s the spot Cobbo was being groomed for. Martin has been great this year, but is probably surplus to them long term. Good to see he’ll secure a deal elsewhere.

He's been back home for the last few years with the head hassles... So it makes sense he'd go back.
 
So "Hooper" reporting Doeuhii and Kimmorly at odds over his selection in the centres and told him to play him in state cup. Sheens had to smooth it over....Brooks having a go at admin leaking info and on it goes...
Doesn't really matter if it's true or not. The clubs recent decisions have created this mess

The Walsh signing is not a recruitment deal and the Dolphins were never in the picture.

Walsh got special dispensation to break his contract because his young daughter is in Brisbane and Walsh couldnt move to NZ and be away from her. NZ agreed to let him out of his contract on the condition he returned to Brisbane, could not sign with a Sydney club and could not sign for Dolphins.

Broncos accidentally get a great deal.

Not only have the Broncs landed Walsh, they have done so for 450 a year. 100 less than we pay Nofa....let that sink in.

And NZ has said "we need a FB urgently...let's go to market" and landed CNK within a week or two.

CNK being, by far, better than everyone we have in spots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 which have taken us years to fill (poorly).

Recruitment is def an issue.

the condition of NZ letting Walsh out of his Contract was he couldnt sign with a Sydney club or Dolphins.

Doueihi should be pissed, Brooks has been horrible for well over a month, what the hell is Noddy thinking by keeping Brooks in the team

Warriors would also be dirty on O'Sullivan....
Might also feel obliged to the Broncos for releasing Walsh to them originally...

TeMaire coming on and the chance of a swap would also not have hurt.

People say to put the club first and then when they make mention of how this can happen , everyone calls em sooks or tells em to shut up and worry about their own form 😂

Look at the sharks - they play with one half.
Moylan plays like a centre and maybe do a few kicks each game but all the creativity comes from 7... their side to side game has worked so far but alas, is now figured out and teams are folding them.

We play with one half also and he carries bulk of the work load whilst Brooks plays more like a modern defensive lock.

This isn't the way forward.
