So he’s shown nought at training too.Has he played in the NRL side is his position….nup
Of course they do but they’re still fundamentally finishers. To’o and Xavier Coates? Deine Mariner? The true modern day wingers are game changers. And they need to do some work.
That’s a very important aspect of the role no doubt. But they could go a whole game without an opportunity. I’d be picking my wingers based on their grunt work and effort plays such as kick chase.Of course they do but they’re still fundamentally finishers.
Josh Schuster Mk2.Let’s face it he’s shown nought.
Na, they had stronger hamstringsJosh Schuster Mk2.
I hope he’s laying off the KFC. Has the look of a guy who could blow out. Feleti Mateo like.
Let’s face it he’s shown nought.
Yeah but that was as a junior.Latu has played out of position and clearly has been hampered by his hamstring injury.
Once he overcomes the injury and he gets an opportunity in the halves, hopefully you'll see his promise. As a junior, he was a better prospect than Galvin.
Do you think the board will talk to the Football department and Benji before getting Brad Arthur on board. 🤣Whilst we all argue about wingers and centres etc here's another question? Would there be any benefit in approaching Brad Arthurs for a consultancy for the remainder of the year ? The guy has 10 years coaching experience at 1st grade level, he has taken his sides further than any of our coaches over the same period and has recent experience in working out plays to exploit our considerable weaknesses and to minimise any strengths we may have. Knowing what other coaches seek to exploit and how they coach their sides against us may well be invaluable to our coaching panel. He would have an EXPLICIT role and made sure he would not be considered for the role should it become vacant so there's no need for him to white ant the existing structure.
Let’s get BA to do an independent audit - we’re due for another one.Do you think the board will talk to the Football department and Benji before getting Brad Arthur on board. 🤣
Well he could tell us what opposition coaches think of our team/tactics and how they plan to play against us. Hearing bluntly how poor our team is and the unfathomable tactics we use might be a wake up call to save us from a 3peat.Let’s get BA to do an independent audit - we’re due for another one.
Bit of chatter around JMK too,Who do we think Wayne Bennett will take to the Rabbits?
I reckon short odds 3 off-contract Dophins who will follow are Kodi Nikorima, Euan Aiken & Ray Stone. Seem to be Bennett favourites. Maybe Tesi Niu a consideration.
For Christ sake we have plenty of coaching staff, don't need anymore. Give Benji and his gang time to do what is in there plans.Do you think the board will talk to the Football department and Benji before getting Brad Arthur on board. 🤣

Too late extended with Dragons.
Agreed. I remember the same chatter about Mitch Moses when Brooks hit the NRL first. Moses is injury prone, he'll get snapped in first grade, blah blah blah. We all know what happened there.Latu has played out of position and clearly has been hampered by his hamstring injury.
