Yes but in this case overs is probably 575K per year, any more and you’re only digging a deeper hole.Unfortunately it's a players market unless you are one of the top 3 or 4 teams. We have to pay overs as we the basket case of the NRL ( 3 consecutive spoons ) proves that.

I have no info on numbers being discussed but personally I’m not offering anything more than the 600-650k region.
I'd be frontloading the contract if possible. We supposedly have the money but not the roster spots at the moment. Spending bigger money now and less in the later parts of the contract could be the difference in retaining the likes of Galvin, TDS, Bula, Fainu bros in a couple of years when they come off contract.I'd be going 4 years. $600k, $600, $650, $650. 2.5 mill has a nice ring to it.
Clause in there about Taylan. Nothing stupid but something like we will offer him a top 30 deal. No figure attached though.
