Chammas broke the news that DCE intends to play origin, then got bagged for it. Gus monologueing about Sam Walker not needing a mentor, wrapped up with Gal tipping the Knights, Gus agreeing, then getting bagged for not favouring the tigers. No justification from either, and no tipping of non channel 9 games.

Would it be beyond the realm of possibility that we have a 5-year contract currently going back-and-forth with his manager now? Not the simplest things to finalise.

No doubt your probarbly right, though Im just wondering if signing him up in the off season would have given his manager more leverage in bargaining, that's if the suitors are dropping away.

my question to @kade7 was - from his intel - why havent we made an offer yet? its a simple question. the media has been saying for the last 3 weeks "we are preparing" an offer - like, whats the hold up.



and the reply i got, that the bulldogs arent intersted because they're signing sexton for another year - in my opinion is naive, unless he has info that supports it. Galvin cant play for them till 2027.

The dogs have young halves yes - but Gus knows that not all of them make the grade and he has said on multiple occasions that Glavin is the best teenager he has seen, that he would have "no problem giving him a 10 year deal", and that whoever has galvin will win premierships in the future. They are words out of Gus, not mine.

So again my question is - why are we not making an offer. Does Kade know. And is it because they Dogs are winning, and we are 2/5, and are we waiting to be in the winners circle for a couple of weeks to make Galvin more keen on staying than going to the dogs.

And the info i got 2nd hand from his manager was that Gus is putting pressure on galvin to wait to november 1 because they will have an offer for him.

and for everyone bagging - you can f off. like, if you had 2nd hand sources from agents, coaches, family members etc i would appreciate it being shared on a rumours forum. that is different to my own speculation - which is what 99% of people post on this forum - just BS own opinions without any sources whatsoever lol.

Yeah mate I hear you, I just think Kade was responding cause your source said that the dogs have told Moses to wait till November 1 and Kade just saying his source is saying that the dogs are preparing to re-sign sexton and are all in on their young halves, maybe he's not sure why there hasn't been a contract offered yet, things with alot of inside info the N.R.L is a very fluid game where things are changing all the time, especially given the managers and their commissions, so alot of the time two conflicting inside rumours from separate people with different sources can both be right, it's just the situation has changed at some point and one rumour is just more recent. Don't stress too much mate, all sources and inside info is appreciated.

Nothing personal mate …but I don’t take anything from anyone that i read here since The Pom stopped posting ,,,.i have learnt over the years that the success rate of insider news since is extremely low ….so these days I just take everything with a grain of salt …just my opinion only

Also, despite that I want to still encourage you and others to keep sharing …. Most people here seem to love it ..
 
BOth can be right and wrong. Im not an insider at all but get a little info here and there and i can tell you it can change in a day. I apprecaite all who offer the info they get.

All the info people are getting could be right in that moment and change in another meeting a day later. Keep posting them i love the info and the people that bash you usually don't know a thing and contribute little positive to the chats anyway.

There's a bit of difference between having a bit of fun at your expense & 'bagging you'.

Only issue I have is people badgering posters like Kade, who come on here with what they are comfortable offering, and getting 48 questions about it in 3 minutes. "Are we making an offer?" "Why not?" "What did Gus say?" "Why are we waiting?" "What colour shirt did Galvin wear?"

Chill. Kade will let you know what he can let you know.

We all want information yesterday. Making demands on that information is stretching the friendship.

Your spot on, though I'd imagine Kade would understand that people are really interested and want to know as much as possible, whoever Kade is seems really chill so doubt Kade would be too fussed or annoyed by it. Kades been posting info for ages, cause Kade cares about us forumers.

Settle down everyone...The Tigers will know well before November 1st if Galvin is commited to the Wests Tigers long term...I've been told he is leaning to signing a 5 year deal with us, but clearly there are other forces at play too...Others have conflicting info, thats okay, but what we all know is:

1) The WT will know BEFORE November 1st if Galvin wants to extend with us. He will be offered a 5 year deal at top dollar(more than he is worth IMO) with a sign now or leave it verbal.
2) If he doesn't sign with us beforehand Richo and Benji will let him go and not get into a bidding war with Gus.
3) Latu Fainu will be the next 5/8 to develop alongside Luai..

So everybody chill and just let this play out, meantime, enjoy our footy rather than speculate further and argue with each other.
