Do not want AJ back.
Can we just send out a search party to find out where Charlie Staines went?

Charlie, where are you ?Do not want AJ back.

Wasn’t me was it ?I remember someone here trying to tell me when AJ left last year that he would go onto be in Penriths grand final team in 2024 …, who was that? Come forward …
Knew he wld come good at some stage, but Olam looked even better..so we ⁰⁰thoughtHindsight. Plasticine man couldn’t stay on the field with us. Good for him he’s improving under Bellamy.
We need to keep players like TDS and Bula if we want to avoid being a shitheap again.Manly had a similar question before. They had Trent Hodkinson who was carving it up...
They realised they had someone better in lower grades, DCE.
TDS needs to push Api out if he wants to stay. Can't remember who, but it was summarised that TDS is more like Michael Ennis then a Damien Cook. Haywood seems a better development prospect and would happily pair him with Api...
The key:
We choose who we want.
We get rid of Grubs, and grubby managers. I suspect we have lost Bula due to us pushing Issac Moses back in the club... So we start again... NO GRUBS.
We get people who want to play here and who like playing here. It's a priviledge to wear our jersey, we carry 200 years of NRL experience and toil as the WT.
Tiger pride.
I agree. I’d be using Galvin’s money to ensure guys like TDS, Bula, May & to a lesser extent Luke Lualilii are still here in 4-5 years. Young talent can’t continue to leave. We need to keep players like TDS and Bula if we want to avoid being a shitheap again.
It’s all good and well to say we want to keep them, but it all comes down to dollar value and whether or not they are willing to show a bit of loyalty and re-sign for a fair and reasonable price.I agree. At the chocolate factoryCharlie, where are you ?
I heard he will do anything for a few $$$Capewell is a journeyman but I wonder if he gets on the nerves of his teammates as he moves on quite frequently or he just literally goes to the highest bidder
How can you compare a bloke who has proven he can handle NRL to someone who hasn’t played any senior footy and say the latter is a better prospect?Answer:
Because we have Hayworth, who some are saying is a better prospect then TDS...
Api is here until the end of 26. After that he will be overtaken. Tallyn has already played 19 games. By the start of 2027 he’ll be past 50. He is a classy 9 mate. He will be great for us.But, hey I am up for it. If TDS wants to play here and a faster style out of Dummy half seems to suit us...
Then we make it work, but we make it clear, our NR1 is Api.
We are no flight deck. Nor a charity house. We will do what's right by Api and he will and has done right by us.
Don’t worry, To’o will likely be here next season 😁On Kepaoa we also need to realise we are very short on outside backs for next year at this stage
We currently have
Skelton
Toa
Turuva
Luke Laulii who will still only be 19
Saukuru who hasn't made it out of Flegg
Makasini - who hasn't even made Flegg
Currently that's it in the outside backs for next year. Nothing wrong with signing a bloke with 50 nrl games and who is currently the best winger in nsw cup comp to your roster especially when the club knows what kind of person he is
Asu leads all of NSW Cup in Tries, Line Breaks, Post Contact Metres & Running Metres (458m more than any other player)
I hope Api stays. This culture we are building is less than a season old. We need him for the next 2-3 years to finish the job and bring the next crop through with the rest of the Penrith crew. He’s better in the sense that , he’s had higher rep honours than TDS at the same age . From watching him , he seems really shift around dummy half .
For me I’d love a 9/14 combo of TDS and Hayward in 2028.
I saw something interesting on 360 today . Api is a bears junior , and will be thier target for thier inaugural season . Maybe he goes to Perth for a fat pay check and a couple of years . I wouldn’t begrudge him .
Wasn’t me was it ?
I’ve never been a huge AJ fan, but he is far better than quite a few we currently have in our top 30.
The Bears have Api in their sights according to Florimo . Will probably throw a motza at him to set up the retirement fund with an offer to good to refuse. Might be good timing for TDS to mature into the role.
API deserves a huge payday, I hope it comes his wayThe Bears have Api in their sights according to Florimo . Will probably throw a motza at him to set up the retirement fund with an offer to good to refuse. Might be good timing for TDS to mature into the role.
Exactly….so what does that tell you…And the 4 time premiers are still putting Daine Laurie on the Wing in front of him....
Flo was just throwing out names of player who have played for the bears. Hes a rerrible target to throw a Montza at his age by 2027.The Bears have Api in their sights according to Florimo .
