Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Don't know why some on here can't see the potential in KPP, do they have too much love for Seyfarth.
If you watched the Knights game last night how many times did you see him running at a gap that he probably could of ran through only to be used as a decoy time and time again.

That was the brilliant game plan O'Brien has for him which happens most weeks, use him as a decoy most of the time, it's laughable the opposition know exactly how he's being used.

Marty sounds like a player trying to squeeze dry what he has left out of his playing career for minimum effort. Probably one of the most undisciplined players on the field and don't want to be paying a player who did the dirty on us just because his options are now limited. No mercaneries wanted thanks.
Agree and also is 35, doubt Richo would consider him as a recruit we look to be moving away from these patch job signings, as we should.

Because it’s a bullshit excuse from the Seyfarth cult on here to try to justify his continued selection in the team. Just like with Brooks, they’ll try to shit on any competition.

KPP tonight put up:
151m on 14 runs
73 post contact metres
39 tackles (1 missed)

It’s a no brainer. KPP in and Seyfarth to reserve grade where he belongs.
There is a Seyfarth cult!?

Oh yeah. And its followers have levels of delusion that would make Charles Manson jealous.
I doubt anyone on this forum is saying Seyfarth is a better player than KPP, but one is paid 350k the other 700k plus, so the question is will we be getting double the value on the field each week ?
After all there is a Salary Cap so we can’t just pay every player whatever they ask for and still stay cap compliant.
While on player values, is Jahream Bula value for money at 900k that he will supposedly be earning from 2026 ?

No Bula is not. Would Cobbo be value on $900k in 2026?

I’m 50/50 on whether or not Bula will be worth 900k from 2026 as he is definitely not of that value at the moment, but he does still look to have plenty of improvement in him as his game evolves.
I don’t think you could pay Selwyn Cobbo 900k to play fullback either as although he has plenty of talent, he just doesn’t have the dedication to get himself as fit as he should be and that’s preventing him from being at his best.

To be fair, basically, top third salary range squad players are not going to double the output/value of a mid salary range one. WT do though need a regular right edge starter that is better than Seyfarth (notwithstanding his effort plays), so hopefully if KPP is a favoured target, he can bring it at the right price.

On Bula, the same, performance needs to match payment.
