It's obvious he loves playing the game, though it's equally obvious his football I.q isn't the best. Touch footy will only get him so far. He reminds me of Tim Smith.

I hope the club goes all out to develop Sukkar. His running and strong defence reminds me of former Balmain second rower David Brooks.

This forum has had nothing but praise for Hunt all season whereas I haven't seen a single performance to justify it. He has had the occasional strong carry but I haven't seen him come on and lift or change momentum. Doesn't play enough minutes leaving us to run May into the ground and occasionally exposed in defence.
I was pleased with his signing without having huge expectations but I think he has been disappointing so far.

Royce is not a starter.
This is part of why we need another prop, although I was told on here we had heaps of props and giraffe was named as one of them.
Last year Richo's plan for the club was to let the team play for like 8-10 games and assess what needed to be done and he then went about doing so.
This is the same this year, it is that time where he will start to adjust the roster as needed and I trust him 100%.
TBF all the players he brought in this year have performed way better than the past ones plus all the players we let go have not been missed IMO
I cannot believe people are starting to turn on him when it takes a few years to turn a club around and ours is a bigger job than most.

Really good post hsv. Richardson is a huge asset to the club and we can be assured he and Marshall are working overtime to address gaps in the roster.
For this year sure but they hamper us long term imo. This year was about improving and clearing deadwood and imo we are doing that. It's not pretty but we have moved a whole lot of average on making us skinny as. But it if we get this right we could be anything I know it's a big if

Many speak about the influence of Bellamy on coaching ranks, but Ivan Cleary with Ciraldo and Webster seems to have had a very positive influence. Cleary, Ciraldo and Webster all appear to be very good player managers.
