I think our go forward is generally good when Royce is on the field and we have our fair share of possession, however he struggles noticeably to get back in position when defending back to back sets or when our opponents are offloading. His numbers are well down on what he has done the last few years. That probably is due to being in a weaker team but given his limited minutes role I thought they would be pretty similar despite the different quality around him.
Additionally there has been a few games every year where Sharks were down on troops and he put in bigger shifts without much of a drop in performance. As such I was expecting him to do 30-35 minutes a game rather than 20-25 minutes.
Exactly. Campbelltown is a graveyard for us. Why continue playing games thereNo a signing, some behavioural issue. Club looking at security footage and it won’t be tolerated. The Campbelltown curse continues
Maybe Terrell can get Royce to go on his long runs in the off-season with him lolHunt maybe our Bulldozer but he needs to stop hitting the KFC/MACCAS before and after training.
Not sure I'd go that far, Paws.I hope the club goes all out to develop Sukkar. His running and strong defence reminds me of former Balmain second rower David Brooks.
He is also managed by Isaac Moses, so even if we promote him to our starting line up and he keeps improving, do you think he will re-sign with us or head elsewhere as of November 1 ?Not sure I'd go that far, Paws.
He did look OK, though. Seemed to be a bit more up to speed at NRL level than his past games. More promising than many might think.
Unfortunately getting it right and this club don't alignFor this year sure but they hamper us long term imo. This year was about improving and clearing deadwood and imo we are doing that. It's not pretty but we have moved a whole lot of average on making us skinny as. But it if we get this right we could be anything I know it's a big if
You get better 5th tackle attacking options from teams playing A-Grade, surely that needs a review in itself ?i dont understamd why a review is neccesary
Its either players not folliwing the game plan or unable to.
Or that the game plan itself is effed.
Or that we have a player issue…i dont understamd why a review is neccesary

Is that Benji or players? You get better 5th tackle attacking options from teams playing A-Grade, surely that needs a review in itself ?
Benji mentioned a mid season review; this would be standard practive and would cover the entire programme.i dont understamd why a review is neccesary

Well i think we should focus on core issues as ive mentioned.Benji mentioned a mid season review; this would be standard practive and would cover the entire programme.
It is harsh but that’s why we are in the situation we are in. We take on guys that aren’t up to it. Cant afford to have these guys in the team for anything else except depth. Which he is at the moment.harsh on Staines , he had a go and carried it back with some spirit , he is a keeper , Seyfarth is rubbish and reserve grader only , Naden is rubbish , reserve grader only , Sukker deserves a crack in the start team replacing Seyfarth ,Mee also need to put a rocket up Sam F he has been just average ,
I would start with how we use the bye round. I hope there isn’t any mid season trips planned.Well i think we should focus on core issues as ive mentioned.
I dont think Benji will be subject to any close scrutiny. That could be an issue atm.
How long do we give him?
I think we are in some trouble.
We move at glacial pace usually.
If the place is professionaly run the entire football department will get the once over - from physio supprt to head coach. It should also be done in a manner where everyone can speak their mind. Of course it needs to be done respectfully; but if done properly it is an excellent process.Well i think we should focus on core issues as ive mentioned.

Sign kiwi players and poms. They don’t care about SOO. And now, neither do I. Hope NSW gets pumped, Moses has a shocker and if Stef gets a run goes completely missing as per usual club land performances. Daley was a champion player but can’t coach or select the best squad for sh1tUntil we start winning consistently like 4 or 5 wins in a row, not just every few weeks, then signing better players is more difficult. Hell even our juniors want out.
Our previous management put under developed juniors on top 30 contracts! How dumb is that?
ATM we are still that club that if you sign with us you are kissing representative honours goodbye.
I have no idea who’s fault it is, but surely someone with Luai’s experience knows the plays we are currently coming with on the 5th tackle in attacking positions are absolute trash and he’s wearing the 7, he wanted to own the team, so he needs to fix it and fix it fast.Is that Benji or players?
I was thinking in our case we can have;
Players deliberately not following Benji.
Players unable to, no skills, physical shortcomings, fear or whatever
Plus
benjis plan is effed anyway.
And we all know, someone innocent is going to be the scapegoat.
I can't put my finger on it but there is something not right within the playing group. Not sure if it is the grind taking effect or a split in the group themselves. Line speed has dropped off, the scramble has dropped off and the coordination is lacking.I gave no idea who’s fault it is, but surely someone with Luai’s experience knows the plays we are currently coming with on the 5th tackle in attacking positions are absolute trash and he’s wearing the 7, he wanted to own the team, so he needs to fix it and fix it fast.
While on the topic of our 1.2 million dollar man, does he also realise a good number 7 runs the ball at least a few times per gam ?
Nathan Clearly has never been content on passing the ball all game and not threatening to run the ball himself.
Yes, before his bad shoulder injury, Nate would run and contest absolutely everything. Youd see him dive on balls on the ground all the time and put himself in mortal danger.I gave no idea who’s fault it is, but surely someone with Luai’s experience knows the plays we are currently coming with on the 5th tackle in attacking positions are absolute trash and he’s wearing the 7, he wanted to own the team, so he needs to fix it and fix it fast.
