Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I for one don't understand the need for some people to have some sort of god like I told you so complex about supporters who choose to be positive & support their club. I especially don't understand the need to constantly come on a forum & get into arguments with people to show how right you are & how wrong they were. At the end of the day we're all Wests Tigers supporters and want what's best for the club. The constant high school bickering that's been on this place lately is childish & pathetic FFS supposed to be a bunch of grown men on here.
I'll put my hand up. I'm civil to everyone on this forum except the troll and I'm sorry to say, I'm going to rip into him every chance I get. He's earned it and I enjoy it. At least I try to be a bit humorous in my attacks. If I'm getting a bit tedious, I'll take any criticism on the chin so feel free to tell me to shut up if I'm pushing it too far.

Of course I don’t swallow it verbatim, however his narrative somewhat aligns with what Richardson and Benji have said previously. Therefore I’m far more likely to go with that narrative than the one being spread on here by disgruntled fans.
I have not said he is absolved. The dossier was a shit go and the bullying legal letter was questionable at best.
I said it was on 3 different clubs, the NRL, the manager and the player. I was quite clear.

His narrative aligns with Richo and Benji because it's scripted. Neither party has anything to gain from assailing the other. When Galvin was still under contract, Richo and Benji's complimentary public comments about Galvin and his family were intended to neutralise Galvin's bullying claim. And Galvin's comments since leaving, claiming no ill-feeling between him and Benji, are also self-serving. Indeed, it is in the parties' mutual interest to deny any bad blood and move on. It's PR 101.

Fine, but not at the expense of losing another Macarthur junior that has already shown the ability to mix it up in the NRL middle at 19. WT are either a development club or not, and Tallyn is currently at the head of the development crop, so is a must retain.
So what happens if Haywood decides to leave because of Da Silva? Don't we lose a junior in that scenario too?

This idea that juniors must be signed at all costs needs to go. You produce enough you will lose your fair share.

Doesn’t mean it’s not true. It also doesn’t mean we should believe what randoms on this forum say happened when they were not there.

You just can't help yourself can you. These platforms just allow people like you to do what they can't in the real world. Sad really but you keep enjoying telling us how your the only opinion that counts. SMH.
Launch into the grub and don't hold back. He bites like a shark. Sometimes I come on here just to rip one into him and sure enough, he can't help himself.

From an outsider looking in, Talyn seemed influenced by Galvout which is concerning… I’m still struggling to understand how a child who lives at home with mummy and talks about “sleepovers” can derail a teams season… I’m putting my faith in Latu
Maybe it wasn’t him who derailed it?

Sure, no team can keep them all. WT just lost one of, if not the most rated/talked up local juniors and Tallyn is next in line, whilst Haywood may never even play NRL.

Happy to keep Api on board in 2027 as well at this stage, though he will be 35yo in November of that year, which has to be paramount in extension considerations.

We didn't "lose" Galvin. We made him an offer and he rejected it.

Thankfully our club is smart to have a bloke that was rated higher than him signed as back up, so we weren't left without a pot to piss in, like when Moses left.

Da Silva and Haywood is the same situation. If Da Silva decides he doesn't want to stay for whatever reason, we have another one right behind him. We will be fine.

I don't care whether we're a development club or not. I want us to be a winning club. I say this respectfully, Tom, it doesn't matter if he's a Macarthur junior. He's a great prospect but WT have got to dictate terms. We've got a succession plan. If he can't accept transitioning to the starting 9 in just over a season, then he can go imo.
