Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Problem is there are many on here that do nothing but bag people that are out there doing there best for a lot of hours of the day then we have these called keyboard warrior professionals that jump on line and will tell you how they have all the answers. The club is obviously struggling and has been for years. Can benji coach idk but he's an immortal and Richo has been around the game more than most. It's obviously not am easy fix but I do believe the club has done more in the last 12 months than the last 10yrs.
I'm hoping there a few more signings in the next few weeks that's gives us a little more fire power. If I have to throw my personal opinion in I still think of a ppdt I read where it was mentioned good sides seem to hit in tackles we seem to catch. I would like to see more emphasis in our D just like the bulldogs did. Seems to be harder than we think. We will eventually get there.
We’ve still yet to get the bounce of the ball . From 05-13 see definitely had the run of the green . So many times I would say things like ā€œthat was a knock on lol I’ll take the try thoughā€ . Little did I know that karma was going to turn into what we experience today .
One day it will turn . The closer and longer we stay at 500. The more likely the dam will break .
Starting with Penrith on Sunday . That team is a shell of itself . We can do them . We’ve beaten at thier peak mid dynasty . We just need belief .

4 runs for 29 yards last week …sounds like just what we need
We need the defence. The broncos are horrible when Payne Hass isn’t in the team. I’m not defending him , just saying where the value is in him . It’s not his strike with the footy that’s for sure …

I have never once pumped this kid up. Not once. He should still be in reserve grade learning his trade.
It’s you ā€œpodcastersā€ who constantly dick rode him and now you’re all trying to bury him. That’s what I find funny.
Your audience is dwindling down to just butthurt Tigers fans - the NRL community in general is pisspot tired of hearing about it.
Maybe, instead of sooking about something you can’t change, you should put your efforts into coming up with suggestions/solutions for the club to devise strategy to stop this from happening with the next crop who are coming through?
That would be far more interesting than digging up shit on a kid from when he was in Harold Mathews.
You just can't help yourself can you. These platforms just allow people like you to do what they can't in the real world. Sad really but you keep enjoying telling us how your the only opinion that counts. SMH.

Why is he like this ? I don’t get it . The whole forum hate him , but when hes not behaving like someone you want to shove a glass in his face, he has opinions that are compelling and worth discussing . The problem is he follows them with a ā€œyou pussyā€ … or ā€œsuck it fairyā€ or whatever .. and it makes you want to punch his teeth into the back of his head . Totally undermining what he said . So no 1 reads it . They just see the gasoline being put on the fire .
I don’t get it . And he does it to people he’s friends with . Like you see him having convos with people then a weak later he’s calling them out .
The dude has mad trauma . And zero communication skills , I’d almost feel sorry for him ….. almost

Been very impressive in the backrow over the last 2 weeks before that he was on the wing or centres. He looks great on bsckrow in flegg
When he played first grade in that trial , I couldn’t believe how big he was . And how damaging his runs were . At centre , he’s exposed , at edge back rower he’s a weapon .
Sometimes it’s the player that’s the issue / his agent / his family. If he buys in to the position change , he could be anything . A real talent

Hooker dilemma looms for Tigers as rival club monitor key pair

A rival NRL team is reportedly closely monitoring the situation and future of two Wests Tigers players as at least one of them is unlikely to remain at the club on a long-term basis.

After confirming the immediate release of Lachlan Galvin to the Canterbury Bulldogslate last week, the Tigers will now shift their focus into retaining several other key players as they continue to rebuild their roster for the future.

While the likes of Adam Doueihi and Heath Mason are off-contract at the end of 2025, the club have several stars who will be able to speak with rival teams from November 1, headlined by dummy-half duo Apisai Koroisau and Tallyn Da Silva.

While both players are in the first-grade lineup when fully fit and available, at least one is set to be moved on, as they are both aiming for the same amount of game time and vying for the same No. 9 jumper.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the North Queensland Cowboys are monitoring the futures of Wests Tigers duo Apisai Koroisau and Tallyn Da Silva extremely closely, with one of them likely to depart at the end of the 2026 season when their contract both come to a close.

Per the publication, the Cowboys inquired about the future of Koroisau in April and did the same about Da Silva once it was confirmed that incumbent NSW Blues dummy-half Reece Robson would make the switch to the Sydney Roosters.

However, Tigers coach Benji Marshall made it clear to the club that they are both currently off-limits at the moment.

ā€œWhy would we let a world-class hooker go 12 months early?" Marshall said in April.

ā€œWe have zero interest [in letting him go], none at all. And that will not be happening while I am the coach.

ā€œApi is our biggest leader in our team, and hence, that's why he's our captain."

I’m not usually impatient but honestly Richo needs to sign some male players for the first grade team.

We’ve lost Bud, Bateman, Klemmer, Olam, Galvin and haven’t replaced any of them.

I have concerns over Benji’s coaching but he needs a full squad. Do we just have no money?
I would like to think we have learnt from panic buying. I see your point though.

That doesn’t relate to what I said at all.
Try and discuss the topic if you want to have a go.

Don't agree. We need Api at WTs and he can provide the same guidance to young Haywood.
Fine, but not at the expense of losing another Macarthur junior that has already shown the ability to mix it up in the NRL middle at 19. WT are either a development club or not, and Tallyn is currently at the head of the development crop, so is a must retain.

Talyn showed his class last weekend in NSW Cup, it would be crazy to lose him.
Why would we not be telling Talyn he will be our starting 9 from 2027 form permitting and have Api transition to our 14 ?
