Been told the club has identified AJ Brimson as their main target for a marquee signing for 2021 as a 5/8. With Ben Matulino, Chris McQueen, Elijah Taylor and 10 other contracts expiring end of 20 the club is cashed up for 21. Can begin negotiations as of Nov 1st this year

Like him as a player but don't love the fit with Brooks. Not ideal to have a pair of halves whose best attribute is ball running.

Prefer him as a fullback personally

Yeah same here, he works better with extra space because he relies primarily on speed. Munster to me is the perfect running 5/8 because he's got so much strength to go with his speed. Brimson is more in the Milford mould and Milford is a much better fullback than 5/8...

AJ is a yes for me... He has speed to burn and not afraid to put his body on the line.. He can also cover a few positions but would put him a 1 for me.

AJ Brimson is a gun. He reminds me of a young Benji Marshall. Great feet, good step and extreme speed. His passing game is underrated he would be a very good signing and he’s young.
Looks like he has had a background in touch football to me the way he plays .
