It just makes no sense. He wants to play 1st Grade. If he can't get a start ahead of Marshall/Brooks, how on earth is he going to start in front of Johnson/Townsend?

@momo_amp_medo I know there is some logic to that, but I'd only continue to support the game if Parra and Penrith merged as well as souffs and rorters. Manly could be axed though.

Why would Reynolds go to the Sharks for one year when he has a deal with the Tigers for two? Are they going to double his money?

It was stated on one of the websites that the Sharks would only pay $300K and we would have to foot the rest.
They can get stuffed as far as I’m concerned if we have to carry too much of his contract.

It was stated on one of the websites that the Sharks would only pay $300K and we would have to foot the rest.
They can get stuffed as far as I’m concerned if we have to carry too much of his contract.

Yeah .... they are dreaming. I think if Cronulla is a possibility then a player swap may be closer to the mark.

@bathursttiger Reynolds might be prepared to carry some loss to get to play NRL. I believe the Sharks have only 3 halves in their squad so it is not all one way. Besides, they could send over their young left winger to us who looks the goods. Why the hell are we so short of backline talent yet other clubs just continually recruit from Nth Qld?

@bathursttiger Reynolds might be prepared to carry some loss to get to play NRL. I believe the Sharks have only 3 halves in their squad so it is not all one way. Besides, they could send over their young left winger to us who looks the goods. Why the hell are we so short of backline talent yet other clubs just continually recruit from Nth Qld?

I think that Aaron Woods took a pay cut when he joined the Sharks.
Reynolds might have to take quite a large pay cut.

Class player but we have to build with modest signings and only current Origin players as big money. We can’t afford to screw up the cap anymore. Even if we are inferior without these players we need value.
