why? are not past the years of giving out long term contracts based on potential

if they didn’t rate him they just wouldn’t of extended him really

he worked for the extension and deserved it, I don’t see the problem with it

Two years is pretty standard. One indicates the club doesn’t seem to have much faith.

Talk about salary rorts, have a listen to Adel Hage on Sunday pod talk about NRLW and how the “strong” clubs get snd keep NRLW players.

The players union are all in on it, too.

If the women are doing it with NRL and union blessing guaranteed the mens game is worse.

I thought Townshend was very average at the Sharks and was made to look better than he was by the good players around him.

I don't know the exact penalty count for Game 1 ....but it had to have been close to 10 .....far more than most SOO games

No idea I didn't watch it, but maybe one day the ref's will understand blowing penalties for marginal things only ruins the game.

No doubt. I agree. But they don’t rely on being fed information from clubs, players and player managers for their day to day job like Chammas, Read, etc do. If a day in day out rugby league journo exposed a salary cap breach I reckon they would be ostracised for spoiling the rort that everyone is in on.
